The Turbo function allows for rapid, automatic firing of a button. Both T3 and T3s models feature 3 modes of Turbo frequency, corresponding to different automatic firing speeds.

  • Activating Turbo: Press and hold the 'TURBO' button, then press the desired action button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, R1, R2) to assign the Turbo function to it.
  • Changing Turbo Speed (T3s only): The T3s offers 4 Turbo speeds: Off, 3 shots/s, 6 shots/s, 9 shots/s. Refer to the user manual for specific button combinations to cycle through these speeds.
  • Deactivating Turbo: Double-click the 'CLEAR' button to turn off the Turbo function for all assigned buttons. Alternatively, press and hold the 'TURBO' button, then press the assigned action button again to deactivate Turbo for that specific button.

2. Vibration Feedback

Both GameSir T3 and T3s are equipped with asymmetrical dual motors, providing dynamic and delicate vibrations. The intensity of vibration can vary between the left and right grips to simulate in-game events more realistically.

  • Adjusting Vibration Intensity (T3s only): The T3s offers 4 vibration intensity options: Off, Low, Middle, and Strong. Consult the user manual for the specific button combinations to adjust these settings during gameplay.

3. Linear Trigger Buttons

The linear trigger buttons (L2/R2) on both models allow for precise control of in-game speed or intensity. The amount of pressure applied to the triggers directly translates to the level of action in the game, offering a more nuanced and interactive experience.

4. Custom Control (T3s only)

GameSir T3s Custom Control Options

The GameSir T3s offers advanced customization options:

  • Control Range: Adjust the sensitivity and response curve of the linear trigger buttons.
  • Vibration Intensity: Select from 4 levels (Off / Low / Middle / Strong) to match your preference.
  • Turbo Key Setting: Assign the Turbo function to 8 programmable keys (A / B / X / Y / L1 / L2 / R1 / R2).
  • Turbo Speed: Choose from 4 speeds (Off; 3 shots/s; 6 shots/s; 9 shots/s).

Refer to the detailed user manual for specific instructions on how to access and configure these custom settings.

5. Battery Life and Charging

GameSir T3 Battery Life

The GameSir T3 has a built-in 400mAh lithium battery, providing up to 20 hours of playtime. The GameSir T3s has a built-in 600mAh lithium-ion battery, offering up to 25 hours of playtime.

  • To charge the gamepad, connect the Micro-USB cable to the gamepad's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., PC, USB wall adapter).
  • The LED indicator on the gamepad will show charging status and battery level.

Maintenance

  • Keep the gamepad clean by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Store the gamepad in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping the gamepad or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the gamepad, as this may void the warranty and cause damage.
  • When not in use for extended periods, ensure the gamepad is fully charged before storing and recharge it periodically to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

1. Gamepad Not Connecting/Responding

  • Check Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected for wired mode, or the 2.4GHz receiver/Bluetooth is properly paired for wireless modes.
  • Battery Level: Make sure the gamepad is sufficiently charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
  • USB Port: Try a different USB port on your PC or Android TV Box.
  • Drivers: For PC, ensure drivers are installed. Windows typically installs them automatically when connected.
  • Restart Devices: Restart your PC, Android TV Box, or mobile device and try connecting again.

2. Turbo Function Causing Multi-Clicks

  • If a button assigned to Turbo is registering multiple clicks instead of one, it means the Turbo function is active.
  • Solution: Double-click the 'CLEAR' button on the gamepad to deactivate the Turbo function for all buttons.

3. Vibration Not Working (PC/Switch)

  • Ensure the game you are playing supports vibration feedback.
  • Check in-game settings to ensure vibration is enabled.
  • For PC, ensure the gamepad drivers are correctly installed.

4. 2.4GHz Wireless Receiver Lost/Damaged

  • If the 2.4GHz USB receiver is lost or damaged, you may need to purchase a replacement from GameSir's official channels. Generic receivers may not be compatible.

5. Bluetooth Connectivity Issues (T3s only)

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the gamepad is in pairing mode.
  • Remove any previous pairings of the gamepad from your device's Bluetooth settings and attempt to pair again.
  • Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are causing interference.

User Tips

  • Multi-Controller Setup on PC: If using multiple GameSir T3/T3s controllers on a PC, ensure each 2.4GHz wireless controller uses its own dedicated USB receiver. For T3s, you can mix Bluetooth and 2.4GHz/wired connections.
  • XInput Compatibility: Both T3 and T3s are generally recognized as Xbox controllers on Windows, ensuring broad compatibility with PC games that support XInput.
  • Mobile Phone Clips: Consider purchasing a compatible phone clip accessory if you plan to use the T3s extensively for mobile gaming, as this can greatly improve comfort and stability.
  • Linear Triggers vs. ABXY Buttons: Remember that only the L2/R2 triggers offer linear input for nuanced control. The A, B, X, Y buttons are membrane switches and provide a standard on/off input.
