1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your EASUN POWER 4000W Solar Inverter. Please read it thoroughly before installation and use. This hybrid solar inverter features a built-in MPPT 100A charger, supports up to 500VDC PV voltage, and provides a pure sine wave output at 230V, 50/60Hz for 24V battery off-grid systems.

2. Product Features

3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Mounting the Unit

Consider the following points before selecting where to install:

  1. Do not mount the inverter on flammable construction materials.
  2. Mount on a solid surface.
  3. Install this inverter at eye level to allow the LCD display to be read at all times.
  4. The ambient temperature should be between 0°C and 55°C to ensure optimal operation.
  5. The recommended installation position is to be adhered to the wall vertically.
  6. Be sure to keep other objects and surfaces as shown in the diagram to guarantee sufficient heat dissipation and to have enough space for removing wires.

3.2. Wiring Connections

Refer to the following diagrams and video for proper wiring. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the unit.

3.2.1. Rear Panel Overview

3.2.2. Battery Connection

The 4KW model supports a 24VDC system. Connect the positive and negative battery terminals as shown.

3.2.3. PV Connection

When selecting proper PV modules, please be sure to consider the following parameters:

  1. Open circuit Voltage (Voc) of PV modules must not exceed max. PV array open circuit voltage of inverter (500VDC).
  2. Open circuit Voltage (Voc) of PV modules should be higher than the minimum battery voltage.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Product Overview and Controls

The inverter features an LCD display, function keys, and LED indicators for monitoring and control.

4.1.1. LED Indicators

4.2. LCD Display Information

If communication between the inverter and battery is successful, various information will be shown on the LCD.

5. Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect all wiring connections to ensure they are tight and free from corrosion.
  • Keep the inverter's ventilation openings clear of dust and debris. The detachable dust cover can be removed for cleaning in harsh environments.
  • Periodically check the battery terminals for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Ensure the inverter is installed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
  • For optimal battery performance and extended lifecycle, utilize the EQ (Equalization) function as needed, referring to the battery manufacturer's recommendations.

6. Troubleshooting

The inverter provides warning indicators to help diagnose issues. Refer to the table below for common warning codes and their descriptions.
