3.2 Recording
The NVR supports various recording modes:
- Continuous Recording: The system can record 24/7 without interruption.
- Motion Detection Recording: Recording starts automatically when motion is detected.
- Scheduled Recording: Set specific times for recording.
- One-Touch Recording: Initiate recording manually with a single action.
- Loop Recording: Older footage is overwritten by new footage when the storage is full.
- Automatic Storage: Data is automatically saved to the installed hard drive. Unexpected power failure can also protect data from loss.

- Configure NVR settings remotely.
4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the NVR unit and cameras with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the devices.
- Ventilation: Ensure the NVR is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Data Backup: Periodically back up important recorded data to an external storage device.
- Power Supply: Use only the provided power adapter to ensure stable operation and prevent damage.
5. Troubleshooting
- No Video Output on Monitor:
- Check if the HDMI or VGA cable is securely connected to both the NVR and the monitor.
- Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source. - Cameras Not Displaying:
- Verify that POE cameras are properly connected to the NVR's POE ports.
- Check the Ethernet cables for damage.
- Ensure cameras are powered on (if not POE) and compatible with the NVR. - No Remote Access via App:
- Confirm the NVR is connected to the internet via its WAN port and your router.
- Check your router's internet connection.
- Ensure the mobile app is correctly configured with the NVR's ID and network settings.
- Restart the NVR and your router. - Recording Not Working:
- Check if a hard drive (HDD) is installed and properly initialized in the NVR settings.
- Verify that the HDD has sufficient free space.
- Review recording schedules and motion detection settings. - System Freezing/Lagging:
- Ensure adequate ventilation for the NVR.
- Reduce the recording resolution or frame rate if necessary.
