Setup
Wired Connection
- Locate the Type-C to USB cable included in your package.
- Connect the Type-C end of the cable to the port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer or device.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.
Wireless (Bluetooth) Connection
The CQ63 keyboard supports Bluetooth 5.0 and can connect to up to three devices simultaneously.
- Ensure the keyboard is charged or has sufficient battery.
- Turn on the keyboard's power switch (usually located on the back or side).
- Press and hold FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E for 3-5 seconds to enter pairing mode for the desired device slot. The backlight on the corresponding key (Q, W, or E) will flash rapidly, indicating it's ready to pair.
- On your device (laptop, PC, iPad, cell phone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "HOU JI CQ63" or a similar name from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the backlight on the selected key will stop flashing and remain steadily lit.
- Repeat steps 3-5 for up to two additional devices using FN + W and FN + E.
Operating Instructions
Switching Between Wired and Wireless Modes
The keyboard automatically detects the connection type. If the Type-C cable is connected, it operates in wired mode. When disconnected, it will attempt to connect via Bluetooth to the last paired device.
Multi-Device Switching (Bluetooth)
To switch between paired Bluetooth devices:
- Press FN + Q to switch to Device 1.
- Press FN + W to switch to Device 2.
- Press FN + E to switch to Device 3.
Backlight Control
The CQ63 keyboard features vibrant RGB backlighting with multiple modes and customization options.
- Change Lighting Mode: Press FN + /? to cycle through 19 different backlight effects.
- Change Solid Color: Press FN + Enter to cycle through 7 solid colors.
