4. Charging the Earbuds

The transmitter base doubles as a charging dock for the earbuds. When the earbud battery is low, simply place the earbuds onto the charging dock. They will begin charging automatically and should be fully recharged within 3 hours. The earbuds can also be charged directly using a 5V/2.5A USB-C cable.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Transmitter: Once connected to power, the transmitter is generally always on.
- Earbuds: Press and hold the multi-function button on the neckband until you hear a voice prompt or see the LED indicator light up/turn off.
2. Adjusting Volume
Use the volume control buttons on the earbud neckband to adjust the listening volume to your preference. The Medley 6018 is designed to provide a louder volume than typical TV headphones.

3. Clear Dialogue Mode
The Medley 6018 features a special 'Clear Dialogue' sound mode to significantly enhance the clarity of conversations and dialogues in your favorite TV shows and movies.

Switch between the default (balanced) mode and clear dialogue mode seamlessly using the controls on your earbuds.
4. Soundbar / Stereo AVR Pass-through
The 'Pass-through' feature allows the Medley 6018 to work simultaneously with your existing soundbar or stereo AV receiver. This means you can listen through the headphones at your own volume, while others can listen through the TV speakers or connected sound system.

To use this feature, connect your soundbar or AV receiver to the OPT OUT or AUX OUT port on the Medley 6018 transmitter, and ensure the 'Bypass to Speaker' switch is enabled.
5. Using Earbuds Independently
The Medley Bluetooth earphone can also be used independently with your mobile phone or PC. Simply pair it directly via Bluetooth to your device. Note that when used separately, there may be audio lag if the earbuds are not connected to the Medley 6018 transmitter.
6. Dual Link Feature (Two Headphones at the Same Time)
The transmitter base in Avantree 6018 allows you to add a second pair of headphones (Avantree compatible) so you can enjoy a nice movie streaming night with a partner. This dual link feature goes even further to permit independent volume adjustment on either headphone, allowing both users to enjoy content at their preferred volume level.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the earbuds and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Remove ear tips and clean them with mild soap and water if necessary, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.
Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- When not in use for extended periods, ensure the earbuds are fully charged before storing.
Troubleshooting
No Sound from Earbuds
