4.2 Pairing with a Motor

To control your Dooya RF433 motor, the remote controller must be paired with it. The exact pairing procedure may vary slightly depending on your specific motor model. Refer to your motor's instruction manual for precise pairing steps. A common pairing process is as follows:

  1. Ensure the motor is powered on and in a ready state.
  2. Put the motor into pairing mode. This is often done by pressing a small programming button on the motor itself or by cycling its power. The motor may jog slightly or emit a sound to indicate it's in pairing mode.
  3. On the DC251 remote, select the desired channel (1-5) you wish to assign to this motor. The remote typically has indicator lights to show the active channel.
  4. Press the 'Setup Button' (labeled "设置键" in Figure 3) located inside the battery compartment of the DC251 remote.
  5. Immediately after pressing the setup button on the remote, press the 'Up' button on the remote.
  6. The motor should jog again, confirming successful pairing.
  7. Repeat this process for any additional motors, assigning each to a different channel or grouping them as desired.

5. Operating Instructions

Once paired, operating your motors with the DC251 remote is straightforward:

  • Channel Selection: Use the channel selection buttons (usually indicated by arrows or numbers) to choose the motor or group of motors you wish to control. The active channel is typically indicated by LED lights on the remote.
  • Up Button (▲): Press to raise or open the curtain/blind.
  • Down Button (▼): Press to lower or close the curtain/blind.
  • Stop/Pause Button (■): Press to stop the motor at its current position.

6. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: When the remote's indicator lights dim or it becomes unresponsive, replace the AAA batteries. Always use new batteries and dispose of old ones responsibly.
  • Cleaning: Clean the remote with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the remote in water.
