4.1 Powering the Camera
- POE Camera (48V): This camera features a built-in 802.3af standard PoE module. It can be powered directly by a 48V PoE injector or a 48V POE NVR using a single Ethernet cable.
- Non-POE Setup: If you do not have a 48V PoE injector or POE NVR, you can power the camera using a 12V 1A/2A power adapter (not included).
4.2 Network Connection
Connect the camera to your network using an Ethernet cable. For POE cameras, this single cable will provide both power and network connectivity. Ensure the waterproof connector for the cable is properly sealed to prevent water ingress.
4.3 NVR Compatibility
The camera is designed to work seamlessly with Techage POE NVRs. It also supports compatibility with third-party NVRs, including brands like Hikvision and Dahua. However, advanced features such as Face Detection may only function correctly when paired with the newest Techage POE NVRs.

5.1 Video Modes
- Normal Day Vision: Default state during daylight hours.
- Normal IR Night Vision: Automatically activates in low-light conditions, providing black and white infrared footage.
- Full Color Night Vision: When human motion is detected at night, the 2 white LEDs will illuminate, providing a full-color view. You can configure settings to make only white lights or red-blue lights bright upon detection.
5.2 AI Human Detection and Alerts
The camera's AI human body detection feature distinguishes human activity from other movements (e.g., pets, insects, light changes). When a human is detected in the designated alarm area, the camera will:
- Flash red and blue lights.
- Emit an audible alarm: "Alert area, please leave!"
- Send email alerts and push notifications to your smartphone app.
5.3 Two-way Audio Communication
Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker for real-time two-way audio communication. This allows you to listen in on the camera's surroundings and speak through the camera, for example, to greet visitors or deter intruders.
