5. Setup

5.1 Mounting

The moving head light can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a truss using the provided light hooks and clamp locks. Always ensure the mounting surface or truss is capable of supporting the fixture's weight (16kg N.W.) and use the safety cable as a secondary attachment.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided 1.2M power cable to the POWER IN port on the rear of the fixture and then to a compatible AC110-240V, 50/60HZ power source. The fixture has a POWER OUT port for daisy-chaining power to other compatible units.

5.3 DMX Connection

For DMX control, connect a 3-pin DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the DMX IN port of the first fixture. For multiple fixtures, connect the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on. Ensure the last fixture in the chain has a DMX terminator connected to its DMX OUT port.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the lenses and exterior with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Ventilation: Ensure all ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris. The fixture features bearing fans for a favorable cooling system.
  • Bulb Replacement: The Os-ram Sirius HRI 230W (7R) bulb has a lifetime of approximately 2000 hours. Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician.
