Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards or outwards to open it.
- Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment. Batteries are not included.
- Replace the battery cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use
This is a replacement remote control and typically does not require programming. Once batteries are installed, point the remote directly at your Aiwa audio system and press the desired function button. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the audio system's IR receiver.
Operating Instructions
The remote control provides access to various functions of your Aiwa audio system. While the button layout may not be identical to your original remote, the core functions are maintained.
- POWER: Turns the audio system on or off.
- PLAY / PRESET: Initiates playback or selects radio presets.
- SKIP / SEARCH: Skips tracks forward/backward or searches radio frequencies.
- VOLUME +/-: Adjusts the audio output level.
- Numeric Buttons (0-9, 10, 20+): For direct track selection or inputting numbers.
- FUNCTION: Cycles through input sources (CD, Tuner, Aux, etc.).
- ENTER: Confirms selections.
- STOP / CLEAR: Stops playback or clears input.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote control's range decreases or it stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
Cleaning
Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or internal components.
Troubleshooting

- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
