1. Product Introduction
The Dooya DV24AF 0.8N tubular motor is designed for automating various types of blinds, including aluminum venetian blinds, Roman blinds, and honeycomb canopy blinds. It features RF433 remote control capability and operates on a 12V, 10W power supply. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient use of your motor.

A motor allows only 20 channels to be stored. If more than 20 channels are needed, new emitter channels cannot be added.
2. Safety Notes and Operation Precautions
Important Safety Instructions:
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- WARNING: the drive shall be disconnected from its power source during cleaning, maintenance and when replacing parts.
- The A-weighted emission sound pressure level of the drive is equal to or less than 70 dB(A), e.g. by writing LpA ≤ 70 dB(A).
- The mass and the dimension of the driven part shall be compatible with the rated torque and rated operating time.
- The type of driven part the drive is intended for.
- WARNING: Important safety instructions. It is important for the safety of persons to follow these instructions. Save these instructions.
- Do not allow children to play with fixed controls. Keep remote controls away from children.
- Frequently examine the installation for imbalance and signs of wear or damage to cables and springs. Do not use if repair or adjustment is necessary.
- Watch the moving shutter and keep people away until the shutter is completely closed.
- Before installing the drive, remove any unnecessary cords and disable any equipment not needed for powered operation.


Operation Notes:
- For the first time with a battery type motor, please charge it before using it.
- Don't operate motors when low voltage: Motor stops running when the supply voltage is lower than 8V, and it will restart again when the voltage is greater than 8.5V.
- Set limit position:
- The up/down limit position can't be at the same position.
- After limit setting, with power off and memory function.
- It will delete every memory and restore the factory settings.
- Into the match-code status 2 minutes later, it will quit out the setting limits status automatically.
- The motor will run for a hint; please do the next step after the hint.
- When the motor is running without any operation, the maximum running time is 6 minutes; it will stop automatically.
- If the emitter is lost, please set up again with the new emitter.

3. Setup and Installation
Motor Installation:
Ensure the motor is correctly positioned and connected. The motor has a power line and a signal line for operation.

Bracket Selection:
The Dooya DV24AF motor is compatible with various blinds, but requires specific brackets depending on the blind type and track size. Please select the correct bracket for your application:
- Bracket A: For special tracks of Yamu Brand. Size: 3.3cm * 2.9cm.
- Bracket B: Most commonly used for Roman Blinds and aluminum venetian blinds. Selection depends on the size of the track. Size: 2.5cm * 2.6cm.
- Bracket C: Specifically for honeycomb canopy blinds. Size: 2.5cm * 2.5cm.



Setting Up (Pairing Remote Control):
To pair the remote control (emitter) with the motor, follow these steps:
- Power Cycle: Power off the motor for more than 10 seconds, then power it on.
- Enter Setting Mode (Method 1 - P2 Button): Press the P2 button on the remote control once. The motor will run for a hint. Press P2 again, then press P2 a third time. The motor will run for a hint, indicating setup is complete.
- Enter Setting Mode (Method 2 - P1 Button): Press and hold the P1 button on the motor for 2 seconds, then release. The motor will run for a hint, indicating it has entered the setting up state. Repeat the setting up operation.
Note: If the motor already has a code, it is not necessary to perform power-on and power-off coding. After successfully deleting original limit settings and motor speed mode settings, factory values are restored.

Limit Position Setting:
Setting the upper and lower limits prevents the blinds from over-extending or retracting too far.
- Enter Limit Position Setting Mode: Press P2 once. The motor will run for a hint. Press P2 again. The motor will run for a hint. Press P2 a third time to enter the mode of setting limits.
- Set the Up Limit Position:
- Press the Up button once. The curtain will run upward.
- Run the curtain to the required top up position.
- Press the Stop button once. The curtain will stop running.
- Press the Stop button 5 times briefly or hold for 3 seconds. The motor will run for a hint, indicating the up limit is set.
- Set the Down Limit Position:
- Press the Down button once. The curtain will run downward.
- Run the curtain to the required down limit position.
- Press the Stop button once. The curtain will stop running.
- Press the Stop button 5 times briefly or hold for 3 seconds. The motor will run for a hint, indicating the down limit is set.
Note: When setting the travel, the motor will run until it meets the stop and automatically confirms the limit position. After the motor is powered off and then powered back on, it will exit the limit setting mode. If the limit setting is not completed, the limit setting mode will be exited. If there is already a limit before the setting, the limit before setting or the limit deletion can be used to set the limit.

Preferred Stop Position:
After setting the up and down limits, you can set a preferred stop position (e.g., half-open) between them.
- Run the curtain to the required preferred stop position.
- Press P2 once. The motor will run for a hint.
- Press the Stop button once. The motor will run for a hint.
- Press the Stop button once. The preferred stop position is set.
Note: Repeat this operation to delete the preferred stop position. In continuous moving mode, a long press of the stop button will make the curtain run directly from the current position to the preferred stop position (applies to shades). In jog-move mode, a long press of the stop button will make the motor first run to the down limit position, then run to the preferred stop position (applies to venetian blinds).

Charging Instructions:
If your motor is a battery-type, ensure it is charged using the provided 12V adapter before initial use.

4. Operation
Motor P1 Button Operation:
The P1 button on the motor has specific functions:
- Short Press Function: A short press of P1 will cycle the motor through running upward, stopping, running downward, and so on. This operation requires the motor to have its limits set.
- Setting Up / Add Emitter: Press and hold P1 for 2 seconds, then release. The motor will run for a hint, indicating it has entered the setting up state. Repeat the setting up operation as needed.

Fine-tuning Up/Down Limit Position:
After the motor reaches its up or down limit, fine adjustments can be made.
- Long press the Up/Down button for 5 seconds to enter the limit fine-tuning mode. The motor will run for a hint.
- Press the Up/Down button for 2 seconds to adjust the up/down limit position.
- Short press the Stop button 5 times or long press for 3 seconds. The motor will run for a hint, confirming the fine-tuning is complete.
Note: After entering the trip fine-tuning mode, the original preferred stop position will be deleted. If the adjustment is unsuccessful, the original limits are still used.

Jog-move Dimming Function:
This function allows for precise, incremental movement of the blinds.
- Press P2 once. The motor will run for a hint.
- Press the Up button once. The motor will run for a hint.
- Press the Down button once. The jog-move dimming function is opened.
Note: Repeat this operation to cancel the jog-move function. In jog-move mode, a short press of the up/down button for 2 seconds will make the motor jog-move to run. If pressed for more than 2 seconds, the motor will run continuously.

Speed Regulation:
Adjust the motor's running speed using the remote control.
- Improve Speed: Press the Up and Stop buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The motor will run for a hint. Press Up and Stop again (x2) to improve to the second gear. Press Up and Stop a third time (x3) to improve to the third gear.
- Reduce Speed: Press the Down and Stop buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The motor will run for a hint. Press Down and Stop again (x2) to reduce to the first gear. Press Down and Stop a third time (x3) to reduce to the second gear.
Note: If the motor does not run for a hint, it means the motor running speed has reached the maximum or minimum value.

Switch Direction:
To reverse the motor's rotation direction:
- Press and hold P1 for 6 seconds, then release. The motor will run for a hint (x2).
- The direction change is successful.
Note: After successfully reversing the direction, all motor original settings are retained.

Add Emitter:
To add a new remote control (emitter) to the motor:
- Method One: Press P2 (on existing emitter 'a') once. Motor runs for hint. Press P2 (on existing emitter 'a') once. Motor runs for hint. Press P2 (on new emitter 'b') once. Motor runs for hint. New emitter is added.
- Method Two: Press and hold Up and Down buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds (on new emitter 'b'). Loosen P1. Motor runs for hint. Press Up and Down buttons simultaneously once. New emitter is added.
Note: Emitter 'a' is the one already matched code, while emitter 'b' has not. After successfully adding an emitter, all original motor settings are retained.

Delete Emitter:
To remove remote controls from the motor's memory:
- Delete One Emitter: Press P2 (on existing emitter 'a') once. Motor runs for hint. Press P2 (on existing emitter 'a') once. Motor runs for hint. Press P2 (on emitter 'b' to be deleted) once. Motor runs for hint. Emitter 'b' is deleted.
- Delete All Emitters: Press P2 once. Motor runs for hint. Press the Stop button once. Motor runs for hint. Press P2 once. All emitters are deleted.
Note: Emitters 'a' and 'b' are both code emitters. This method can only delete emitter 'b', not emitter 'a'.

Cancel Limit:
To remove existing limit settings:
- Press P2 once. Motor runs for hint.
- Press the Down button once. Motor runs for hint.
- Press P2 once. The limit is cancelled.
Note: Deleting the limit will also delete the preferred stop position.

Reset to Factory Mode:
To restore the motor to its factory default settings:
- Press and hold P1 for 12 seconds, then release. The motor will run for a hint (x3).
- The motor is successfully reset to factory mode.
Note: After resetting to factory mode, all previous system function settings and emitter codes will be deleted.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper functioning of your Dooya DV24AF motor.
- Cleaning: Always disconnect the drive from its power source before cleaning. Clean the motor and surrounding areas with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Frequently examine the installation for any signs of imbalance, wear, or damage to cables and springs. If any issues are detected, do not operate the motor until necessary repairs or adjustments have been made by qualified personnel.
- Power Disconnection: Disconnect the drive from its power source during any maintenance, cleaning, or when replacing parts to prevent accidental operation and injury.
