5. Setup Guide
5.1 Battery Installation
- Quadcopter Battery: Insert the 3.7V 1600mAh lithium battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it clicks securely into place. The modular design makes installation and removal easy.
- Transmitter Battery: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote controller. Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover.

5.2 Propeller and Protective Frame Installation
- Attach the protective rings to the drone's arms as shown in the diagram, if desired, to strengthen protection during flight.
- Ensure propellers are securely attached. Diagonal propellers must be installed in the same direction.
5.3 App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection
- Download the dedicated 4DRC app (or compatible APK system) on your smartphone.
- Power on the drone.
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named '4DRC-V14' or similar).
- Open the app to establish a connection and view the real-time camera feed.
5.4 Calibration
Before your first flight, or if the drone is unstable, perform a calibration:
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Refer to the app or remote control instructions for the specific calibration sequence (often involves moving joysticks in specific patterns).
