1. Introduction

Note: A CR2032 3V battery is required for operation and is not included in the package.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Smart Tag.
2. Gently open the compartment cover.
3. Insert one CR2032 3V lithium battery, ensuring the positive (+) side faces upwards.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 App Installation

1. Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' application from your smartphone's app store (available on Android and iOS).
2. Register or log in to your account.

3.3 Device Pairing

1. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Open the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app.
3. Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner to add a device.
4. Select 'Auto Scan' or manually search for 'Anti-lost Alarm' or 'Smart Tag' under the 'Security & Video Surveillance' category.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process. This may involve pressing the button on the Smart Tag.
6. Once paired, you can rename your Smart Tag for easy identification (e.g., 'Keys', 'Wallet', 'Child's Bag').

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Finding Your Device (Phone to Tag)

If you've misplaced an item with the Smart Tag attached:

1. Open the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app.
2. Select the specific Smart Tag you wish to locate.
3. Tap the 'Call Device' icon within the app. The Smart Tag will emit an audible alarm, helping you pinpoint its location.

4.2 Finding Your Phone (Tag to Phone)

If you've misplaced your phone but have the Smart Tag:

1. Double-press the button on the Smart Tag.
2. Your phone will ring, even if it's on silent mode, helping you locate it.

4.3 Disconnection Alarm

The app will notify you if your Smart Tag moves out of the safety distance from your phone. This feature helps prevent items from being left behind or lost.

4.4 Connection Memory & Location Record

The Tuya app automatically records the last known location of your Smart Tag when it disconnects from your phone. This feature is invaluable for retracing your steps and finding lost items more easily.

4.5 Multi-device Management

One smartphone can be paired with and manage 10-20 Smart Tags simultaneously without affecting each other's performance. This allows you to track multiple items efficiently.

4.6 Ringtone Selection

The Tuya app allows you to select different ringtones for your Smart Tag, offering customization for your alerts.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The Smart Tag uses a replaceable CR2032 3V battery. When the battery level is low (which can be checked in the Tuya APP), replace it following the steps in Section 3.1. A fresh battery ensures optimal performance and up to 12 months of standby time.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean your Smart Tag, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.

• Device not connecting to app: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, the Smart Tag has a fresh battery, and you are within range. Try restarting both the app and your phone.

• Inaccurate location record: The location record relies on your phone's GPS at the time of disconnection. Ensure your phone's location services are enabled for the Tuya app.

• Limited range: The maximum range is 80 meters in open space. Obstacles like walls, furniture, and other electronic devices can significantly reduce the effective range.
