8. Troubleshooting

  • Lights not turning on:
    • Check all power connections to ensure they are secure.
    • Verify the power source is providing the correct voltage (5V for USB, 5-24V for DC).
    • Ensure the LED strip is correctly connected to the controller with proper polarity.
    • Test the LED strip with a different controller or power source if possible to rule out strip issues.
  • Bluetooth connection issues:
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
    • Restart the app and try reconnecting.
    • Move closer to the controller (within 40m range).
    • Ensure no other devices are interfering with the Bluetooth signal.
  • Music mode not working:
    • Confirm you have purchased a controller with a built-in microphone (MIC version). Controllers labeled "No MIC" do not support music modes.
    • Ensure the microphone is not obstructed.
    • Increase the volume of the music source.
  • Remote control not responding:
    • Check if the remote control has a working battery installed.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the controller.
  • Incorrect colors or flickering:
    • Verify that the LED strip type selected in the app matches your actual LED strip (e.g., WS2812B).
    • Check for loose connections between the controller and the LED strip.
    • Ensure the power supply is adequate for the length and density of your LED strip.

9. User Tips

  • Check for MIC: If music synchronization is a key feature for you, ensure you select the controller variant that includes a microphone (MIC version). The "No MIC" version does not support music modes.
  • USB Cable Length: The included USB power cable is approximately 50 centimeters long. Plan your setup accordingly or use a longer compatible USB cable if needed.
  • LED Strip Compatibility: This controller is designed for addressable LED strips (e.g., WS2812B, SK6812, APA102) that typically use a 3-pin connection (VCC, Data, GND). Ensure your LED strip is compatible before connecting.
  • Power Supply: Always use a power supply that matches the voltage requirements of your LED strip and provides sufficient current for its total length.
