Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Power Supply: The scale can be powered in two ways:
    • Using the built-in rechargeable battery (included). Connect the provided charging cable to the scale and a USB power source to charge.
    • Using 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Placement: Place the scale on a very stable, flat, and level surface. Even small vibrations or an uneven surface can affect the accuracy of the readings.
  4. Initial Use: Before first use, ensure the scale is fully charged or has fresh batteries.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off

  • Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn the scale on.
  • Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button to turn the scale off.
  • The scale features a 120-second auto-off function to conserve battery power.

Unit Conversion

The scale supports five different units of measurement: grams (g), kilograms (Kg), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), fluid ounces (fl.oz), and milliliters (ml).

  • Press the "UNIT" button to cycle through the available units. The current unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively in the same bowl.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale.
  2. Press the "TARE" button. The display will reset to zero.
  3. Add the first ingredient to the container. The scale will display its net weight.
  4. To add another ingredient, press "TARE" again to reset the display to zero, then add the next ingredient.
  5. Repeat as needed.

  • "O-Ld" or Overweight Indicator: If the weight on the scale exceeds its maximum capacity (15kg), an overweight indicator will appear. Remove some items immediately to prevent damage to the scale.

Accuracy Considerations

  • Ensure the scale is placed on a stable, flat, and level surface. Uneven surfaces or vibrations can cause inaccurate readings.
  • The minimum recommended weighing weight is 3g. For weights below this, accuracy may vary.
