Ergonomic Design

OLED Display

The integrated OLED display provides real-time information about the mouse's status, including battery level, current DPI setting, and active connection mode.

4. Setup and Connectivity

The Delux M618XSD mouse offers three connection modes: 2.4G wireless via USB receiver, and two Bluetooth 5.0 channels (BT1 and BT2).

4.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection (Mode 2)

  1. Locate the USB receiver stored in the mouse's bottom compartment.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the power button (8) on the bottom.
  4. Switch the connection mode button (9) to "2.4G". The mouse should automatically connect.

4.2. Bluetooth Connection (Mode 3)

The mouse supports two separate Bluetooth connections (BT1 and BT2).

  1. Turn on the mouse using the power button (8) on the bottom.
  2. Switch the connection mode button (9) to either "BT1" or "BT2".
  3. Press and hold the connection mode switch button (9) for 3-5 seconds until the OLED display shows "Pairing" or the Bluetooth icon flashes.
  4. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for "DELUX M618XSD".
  5. Select the mouse to pair. Once connected, the OLED display will show the active Bluetooth channel (e.g., "MODE:BT1").
  6. Repeat for the second Bluetooth channel (BT2) if connecting to another device.

4.3. Wired Connection (Mode 1)

The mouse can also be used in wired mode while charging.

  1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the front of the mouse.
  2. Connect the other end of the Type-C cable to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The mouse will function as a wired mouse and charge simultaneously.

5. Operation

5.1. Switching Between Devices

To switch between connected devices, simply press the connection mode switch button (9) on the bottom of the mouse. The OLED display will indicate the currently active mode (2.4G, BT1, or BT2).

5.2. Adjusting DPI (Sensitivity)

Press the DPI button (7) to cycle through different DPI settings. The current DPI will be displayed on the OLED screen. The available DPI range is 600-4000 DPI.

5.3. Scrolling

  • Vertical Scrolling: Use the main scroll wheel (2) for vertical navigation.
  • Horizontal Scrolling: Use the thumb wheel (trackball, 4) for horizontal navigation, useful in spreadsheets or wide documents.

5.4. Smart Sensor Light

The mouse features an RGB smart sensor light. The lighting is designed to turn off automatically when your hand is close to the mouse, conserving battery and reducing distraction.

5.5. Customizable Buttons (Windows Only)

For advanced customization, including backlight effects, 6 programmable buttons, adjusting DPI/report rate, and creating macros, download the official software. This software is compatible with Windows operating systems only.

6. Maintenance and Charging

6.1. Charging the Battery

The mouse has a built-in 1000mAh rechargeable Polymer Li-ion battery. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port on the mouse and a USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 6 hours of continuous use, with a standby time of up to 1 week.

6.2. Cleaning and Hygiene

The mouse features a removable back cover (honeycomb shell) for convenient cleaning and improved hygiene. Gently detach the back cover to clean it with water or a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.

6.3. Magnetic Hand Rest

The magnetic hand rest can be easily attached or detached. It helps reduce friction between your hand and the table, enhancing comfort. Keep the magnetic contact points clean for optimal attachment.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not connecting: Ensure the mouse is charged and turned on. Check the connection mode switch (9) is set correctly (2.4G, BT1, or BT2). For Bluetooth, ensure the mouse is in pairing mode (hold button 9). For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted.
  • Buttons not responding: Check battery level on the OLED display. If using customization software, ensure settings are correctly applied.
  • DPI not changing: Press the DPI button (7) firmly. Check the OLED display to confirm DPI changes.
  • Customization software not working on Mac: The customization software is designed for Windows operating systems only. Mac users will use default system settings for mouse customization.
  • Loud button clicks: The M618XSD model features silent clicks. If you experience loud clicks, ensure you have the correct model.

9. User Tips

  • MacBook Customization: While the dedicated software is Windows-only, basic button functions and DPI adjustment work on macOS. For more advanced customization, consider third-party mouse utility software compatible with macOS, though compatibility with all features is not guaranteed.
  • Bluetooth Switching: The button on the bottom of the mouse is the primary way to switch between connected devices. Familiarize yourself with its location for quick transitions.
  • Silent Clicks: The M618XSD is designed with silent clicks. If you prefer a quieter experience, this model is suitable.
