5.2 Adding RF Devices (Remotes/Sensors)
Once the RF Bridge R2 is connected to the eWeLink app, you can add 433MHz RF devices:
- In the eWeLink app, navigate to your RF Bridge R2 device.
- Select 'Add Remote' or 'Add Alarm' depending on the type of RF device you are adding.
- Follow the in-app instructions to put your RF remote or sensor into learning mode. The RF Bridge R2 will emit a peak beep when it successfully learns a new device.
- For sensors like DW2-RF, you can add them as an alarm. When triggered, the alarm will be displayed on your handset.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Controlling Devices with RF Remotes
Once the RF Bridge R2 has successfully learned common remotes, you can use these remotes to control multiple devices simultaneously. This allows you to turn traditional 433MHz RF remote-controlled products into smart devices.

6.2 Creating Smart Scenes with 433MHz Sensors
The RF Bridge R2 can act as a bridge between 433MHz RF sensors and Wi-Fi devices, enabling smart scene automation:
- Motion Sensor (PIR3-RF) Example: Use a PIR3-RF motion sensor to automatically open floor-to-ceiling windows when motion is detected.
- Door/Window Sensor (DW2-RF) Example: When a window is opened, a DW2-RF sensor can trigger the fan to automatically turn off.

6.3 Alarm Functions
When a 433MHz sensor (like DW2-RF) is added as an alarm, the RF Bridge R2 will send push notifications to the owner's eWeLink account when the sensor is triggered. This allows for basic home security monitoring.
6.4 Timer Functions
You can set various timers for your RF-controlled products through the eWeLink app:
- Specified Time: Schedule devices to turn on/off at specific times.
- Countdown: Set a countdown for devices to activate or deactivate.
- Loop Execution: Configure devices to repeat actions at regular intervals.

7. User Tips
- RF Device Compatibility: The RF Bridge R2 primarily works with 433.92MHz fixed code RF devices. It is not compatible with rolling code or dynamic code RF devices. If you have a Sonoff temperature sensor, ensure it operates on 433.92MHz fixed code RF for compatibility.
- Device Status in App: Note that you may not see real-time device status changes for all RF devices directly in the eWeLink app. The bridge primarily acts as a trigger for actions.
- Wi-Fi Network: The RF Bridge R2 requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for operation. Ensure your router is configured to support this frequency during setup.
- Voice Assistant Integration: For voice control, link your eWeLink account with your preferred voice assistant (Alexa, Hey Google, etc.) through their respective apps.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Environment: Keep the device in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the eWeLink app for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
9. Troubleshooting
- Cannot Pair Device:
- Ensure the RF Bridge R2 is in quick pairing mode (Wi-Fi LED cycling two short, one long flash).
- Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.
- Keep your smartphone and the RF Bridge R2 close to the Wi-Fi router during pairing.
- Check that your Wi-Fi password is entered correctly in the eWeLink app. - RF Device Not Responding:
- Confirm the RF device operates on 433.92MHz fixed code frequency.
- Ensure the RF device has been successfully learned by the RF Bridge R2.
- Check the battery in your RF remote or sensor. - No Alarm Push Notifications:
- Alarm push notifications are only sent to the owner's eWeLink account. Shared users will not receive them.
- Ensure notifications are enabled for the eWeLink app on your smartphone. - Device Status Not Updating in App:
- The RF Bridge R2 may not display real-time status for all connected RF devices. This is a known limitation for some RF protocols. - Voice Control Issues:
- Ensure your eWeLink account is correctly linked to your voice assistant (Alexa, Hey Google) account.
- Check your internet connection and the status of the RF Bridge R2 in the eWeLink app.
