5. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your ICSee IP Camera and connect it to the mobile application.

5.1. Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's power port (Micro USB).
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. The camera will power on, and you should hear a voice prompt indicating it's ready for configuration.

Tip: Please ensure you listen to the voice guidance during the installation process.

5.2. Download the ICSee App

The ICSee app is required for camera control and monitoring.

  • Mode 1: Scan QR Code
    Scan the QR code below with your smartphone to download the ICSee App. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is available.

  • Mode 2: App Store / Google Play
    Search for "ICSee" in your mobile device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the official application.

5.3. Add Device to ICSee App

Once the app is installed and the camera is powered on, proceed with adding the device:

  1. Open the ICSee App. Register a new account or log in if you already have one. A temporary, registration-free login option may also be available.
  2. Follow the in-app guidance to add your device.

  1. Select "Add My Camera (recommended)". If the device is not in AP mode, long-press the RESET button on the bottom/back of the device to restore factory settings.
  2. The app will prompt you to connect to the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot. Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings, find the camera's hotspot (e.g., "camera_xxxx"), and connect to it.
  3. Return to the ICSee app and enter your home Wi-Fi network's password. Tap "Join" to connect the camera to your home network.

  1. The app will search for the device and connect. Once connected, the camera status will show "Online".
  2. You can now access the live view, watch mode, and other settings.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Remote Monitoring

After successful setup, you can monitor your home from anywhere using the ICSee app on your Android or iOS device. The camera supports multi-user access, allowing several family members to view the feed simultaneously.

6.2. Pan & Tilt Control

The camera features Pan (horizontal) and Tilt (vertical) movement, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle remotely via the ICSee app. The camera offers a 350° horizontal pan and 110° vertical tilt.

6.3. Two-Way Audio

The camera is equipped with an internal microphone and speaker, enabling real-time two-way audio communication. You can speak to individuals near the camera and hear their responses directly through the app.

6.4. Night Vision

The camera features IR night vision with 6 IR LEDs, providing clear surveillance up to 10 meters in low-light conditions. It also supports color night vision for enhanced visibility when ambient light is present.

6.5. Storage

The camera supports local storage via a MicroSD card (up to 128GB, not included). When the memory card is full, the oldest files will be overwritten automatically.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Placement: Ensure the camera is placed in a stable indoor environment, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  • Firmware Updates: Regularly check the ICSee app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Power Supply: Use only the provided power adapter to prevent damage to the camera.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1. Common Issues & Solutions

  • Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
    Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks. Verify the Wi-Fi password is correct. Try resetting the camera by long-pressing the reset button and re-attempting the setup process.
  • No image or poor image quality:
    Check the power connection. Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Verify your internet connection speed.
  • Two-way audio not working:
    Check the microphone and speaker settings in the ICSee app. Ensure your phone's volume is up.
  • Camera is not suitable for outdoor use:
    This camera is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor elements (rain, extreme temperatures) will damage the device and void the warranty.
  • Camera does not support ONVIF or XMEye:
    This camera is designed to work exclusively with the ICSee application. It does not support ONVIF protocol or integration with XMEye.

9. User Tips

  • Storage Management: If using a MicroSD card for local storage, remember that the camera will overwrite the oldest files when the memory is full. Plan your storage capacity accordingly.
  • SD Card Purchase: The package does not include an SD card. Purchase a compatible MicroSD card (up to 128GB) separately if you intend to use local storage.
  • Mounting Options: The camera can be installed on a flat surface, ceiling, or wall. The base includes screw holes for tripod mounting or fixed installation.
