Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

Main Unit:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
2. Insert 3x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Wireless Remote Sensor:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote sensor.
2. Insert 2x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Locate the channel switch button inside the battery compartment. Set the sensor to the desired channel (1, 2, or 3).
4. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Channel Matching

To ensure proper communication between the main unit and the remote sensor(s):

1. First, power on the main unit by installing its batteries.
2. Then, load batteries into the remote sensor and set its channel using the switch inside the battery compartment.
3. The main unit will automatically search for and connect to the sensor.
4. If you want to manually update or reconnect a matched sensor, press and hold the "CH" button on the main unit's screen. This will clear the current data and initiate a new search for sensors.

3. Sensor Placement Guidelines

Proper placement of the remote sensor is crucial for accurate readings and reliable wireless transmission. Follow these recommendations:

• Stand Upright: Always position the sensor upright for optimal performance. Avoid laying it down.
• Shade and Airflow: Place the sensor in a location with permanent shade and plenty of fresh air. Direct sunlight or stagnant air can affect temperature readings.
• Avoid Direct Weather Elements: Do not expose the sensor directly to rain, snow, or other harsh weather conditions unless it is specifically designed for such exposure (check product specifications for water resistance).
• Distance from Interfering Sources: Keep the sensor away from sources of electromagnetic interference, such as large metal objects, electronic devices, or thick walls, which can disrupt the wireless signal.
• Height: Position the sensor at least 1.2 meters (approximately 4 feet) from the ground. Avoid placing it too close to the ground.

Operating Instructions

Main Unit Display Overview

1. Time Display

• The current time is displayed in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.
• To switch between 12/24h format, press the "C/F SET" button.

2. Temperature and Humidity Display

• The main unit displays both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.
• To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the "C/F SET" button.

3. Max/Min Records

• The device records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity for both indoor and outdoor readings.
• Press the "MEM" button to view the maximum records. Press again to view minimum records. Press a third time to return to current readings.

4. Comfort Level Indicator

The comfort level indicator provides a quick visual reference for the indoor environment based on humidity levels:

5. Backlight

• Press the light button (usually located on top of the main unit) to activate the white backlight. It will remain lit for a few seconds.

6. Switching Channels

• If you have multiple remote sensors, press the "CH" button on the main unit's screen to cycle through the channels (CH1, CH2, CH3).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure to use fresh AAA batteries.
• Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
• Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity for prolonged periods, as this can affect accuracy and lifespan.
