4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Insert the ARB5000U battery pack into the flashlight body, ensuring the positive (+) end of the battery pack aligns with the positive contact inside the flashlight head. The battery pack has three gold contacts on one end.
- Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure a waterproof seal.
4.2 Charging the Battery Pack
The ARB5000U battery pack is rechargeable via a Type-C charging port located on the battery pack itself.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the battery pack.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The charging indicator on the battery pack will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
4.3 Attaching the Ball Joint Mount
The DF50 comes with a 1-inch (25.4mm) diameter ball joint for easy mounting to camera systems.

- Screw the ball joint mount into this threaded hole until it is secure.

5. Operating Instructions
The DF50 features a professional compression-resistant one-button switch on the neck of the flashlight for all operations.
5.1 Power ON/OFF
- To Turn ON: Under unlocked mode, long press the side switch for 0.5 seconds.
- To Turn OFF: Long press the side switch for 0.5 seconds.
5.2 Switching Working Modes

5.3 SOS Mode
- To Activate SOS: When the flashlight is OFF, long press the side switch for 2 seconds.
