4. Operating Modes
The KT3200 offers three distinct operating modes to suit various temperature control and timing needs.
4.1. M1 TC: Temperature Control Mode
In this mode, the device controls heating or cooling based on a set start and stop temperature.
- Setting: Define a 'start temperature' and a 'stop temperature'.
- Heating Mode: Set the start temperature to be lower than the stop temperature. The device will activate the heating equipment when the measured temperature falls below the start temperature and deactivate it when it reaches the stop temperature.
- Cooling Mode: Set the start temperature to be higher than the stop temperature. The device will activate the cooling equipment when the measured temperature rises above the start temperature and deactivate it when it falls to the stop temperature.

4.2. M2 TC+Timer: Day/Night Temperature Control
This mode allows for different temperature control settings during daytime and nighttime periods within a 24-hour cycle.
- Setting: Set the current clock, Time 1 (start of day period), Time 2 (start of night period), TC 1 (temperature control settings for day), and TC 2 (temperature control settings for night).
- Operation: During the daytime period (from Time 1 to Time 2), the device will operate according to the TC 1 program. During the nighttime period (from Time 2 to Time 1), it will switch to the TC 2 program.

4.3. M3 Timer: 2 Timer Period Timer Only
This mode functions purely as a timer, controlling the output based on two set time periods.
- Setting: Set the current clock, Time 1 (ON start time), and Time 2 (OFF start time).
- Operation: The output will be ON during the period from Time 1 to Time 2. The output will be OFF during the period from Time 2 to Time 1.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and accurate performance of your KT3200 thermostat, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the plastic casing and electronic components.
- Sensor Care: Keep the temperature sensor clean and free from debris. Ensure it is not exposed to extreme physical stress or sharp objects that could damage the cable or probe.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KT3200 thermostat, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the device is securely plugged into a functional power outlet. Check the power supply voltage to ensure it is within the specified range (100~250VAC).
- Incorrect Temperature Readings: Verify that the temperature sensor is properly connected and positioned in the area where temperature needs to be measured. Ensure the sensor is not damaged. You may use the temperature calibration function if you suspect a consistent offset.
- Output Not Activating/Deactivating: Check your set start and stop temperatures or timer settings (Time 1, Time 2) to ensure they are configured correctly for your desired operation. Confirm that the connected appliance is working correctly.
- Device Unresponsive: Try performing a reset by pressing the 'Back / Reset' key for 3 seconds. This will revert settings to default, so reconfigure as needed.
- Memory Function Issues: Remember that only the clock needs to be reset after a power failure if the device was in M2 or M3 mode. All other data is saved.
If problems persist after attempting these steps, please contact customer support.
8. User Tips
- Power Outage Recovery: The KT3200 features a memory function that saves all settings except the clock after a power failure. If operating in M2 (Temperature Control + Timer) or M3 (Timer Only) mode, remember to reset the clock upon power restoration. If in M1 (Temperature Control) mode, the device will automatically resume operation.
- Temperature Unit Switching: Easily switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) by pressing the 'OK' button for 3 seconds.
- Application Versatility: This thermostat is highly versatile and can be used for various applications such as controlling heaters in a room, maintaining optimal temperatures in incubators, regulating aquarium temperatures, or managing climate in greenhouses.
