3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Charger Components and Ports

- 1602 LCD screen: Displays program selection, charging status, and battery information.
- Stop Batt.Type button: Selects the main program or stops the current operation.
- Status buttons (- and +): Decrement/Increment values or navigate through sub-programs.
- Enter Start button: Resumes or starts an operation.
- Output port: Main connection for charging cables.
- Balance socket: Connects the battery's balance lead for cell balancing.
- Temp. port: For optional temperature sensor.
- PC Link: For firmware updates.
- USB (5V 2.1A): For charging external devices.
- DC 11-18V input: For DC power supply.

3.2 Connecting the Charger and Battery
Follow these steps to connect your battery to the HTRC C150 charger:
- Plug in the AC line: Connect the provided AC power cord to the charger's AC input and then to a wall outlet. Alternatively, connect a DC power source (11-18V) to the DC input.
- Connect the main charging cable: Attach the banana plug end of the charge cable to the charger's output ports (red to positive, black to negative).
- Connect the battery:
- Correctly connect the main power cable of your battery to the appropriate connector on the multi-connector cable (e.g., XT60, T-plug).
- Connect the balance lead of your battery to the balance socket on the charger. Ensure the negative pin of the balance lead aligns with the negative pin of the balance socket.
- Power on the charger: Flip the power switch to the ON position. The LCD screen will light up.



4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
After powering on, the charger will display "PROGRAM SELECT Lithium BATT". Use the Status buttons (- and +) to navigate through different battery types and functions. Press "Enter Start" to select.
4.2 Charging a Battery (Example: LiPo Balance Charge)
- Select Battery Type: Use the Status buttons to select "Lithium BATT" (or the appropriate type for your battery). Press "Enter Start".
- Select Charging Mode: Navigate through "LiPo Balance CHG", "LiPo Charge", "LiPo Fast Charge", "LiPo Storage", "LiPo Discharge" using the Status buttons. Select "LiPo Balance CHG" for balanced charging. Press "Enter Start".
- Set Current and Voltage: The display will show the current (e.g., 4.8A) and voltage (e.g., 22.2V (6S)). Use the Status buttons to adjust the charging current (e.g., for a 4200mAh battery, a 1C charge rate would be 4.2A).
- Start Charging: Press and hold the "Enter Start" button for a few seconds. The charger will perform a "BATTERY CHECK".
- Confirm Battery: The charger will display the detected cell count (e.g., "6S"). Confirm by pressing "Enter Start".
- Monitor Charge: The charger will begin charging. You can press the Status buttons to view individual cell voltages during the charge cycle.
- Completion: The charger will beep and display "FULL" when charging is complete.

Note that the tester may require plugging in the opposite way compared to other checkers, with the negative pin aligning with the top ridge.
