The NEWBOLER Bicycle Headlight and Horn is a versatile accessory designed to enhance cycling safety and convenience. It features a high-brightness LED light, an integrated horn, and a rechargeable battery. Certain models also include a smart light sensor and can function as a power bank.

2. Package Contents

3. Installation
3.1 Mounting the Headlight
- Select the appropriate mounting bracket for your handlebar. The package may include two types to accommodate different handlebar sizes.
- Attach the bracket to your bicycle's handlebar. Use the provided hex key to securely tighten the screws.
- Slide the headlight unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place. Ensure it is firmly attached and facing forward.
3.2 Installing the Wired Control Switch (if applicable)
For models with a wired control switch (e.g., LIG105/BK105 with horn function), follow these steps:
- Position the wired control switch on your handlebar in a comfortable and accessible location, typically near your thumb.
- Secure the switch to the handlebar using the provided strap or clamp.
- Connect the wired control switch cable to the designated port on the bicycle headlight unit.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Lighting Modes
To turn the light ON or OFF, press and hold the power button on the headlight unit. To cycle through the lighting modes, short press the power button. Available modes typically include:
- 100% Power (Bright Light)
- Smart Mode (Automatic brightness adjustment, available on LIG105/BK105 2000mAh and LIG510/BK501 4000mAh models)
- 50% Power (Low Light)
- Flash (SOS Flash Light / Fast Flash Light)

4.2 Smart Sensor Function (LIG105/BK105 2000mAh, LIG510/BK501 4000mAh)
The smart sensor automatically adjusts the light's brightness based on ambient light conditions. This feature helps conserve battery life and provides optimal visibility:
- When the outside light is sufficient, the light automatically dims.
- When the outside light is dim, the light automatically brightens.
Note: The 1500mAh model does not include a smart sensor.

4.3 Horn Function (if applicable)
For models equipped with a horn, use the wired control switch to activate the horn. The horn typically offers 5 different sounds and has a volume of 120dB to effectively alert pedestrians and vehicles.

4.4 Power Bank Function (LIG510/BK501 4000mAh)
The 4000mAh model can be used as a power bank to charge your mobile phone or other USB-powered devices in emergencies during long rides.

5. Charging and Battery Indicator
The bicycle light is rechargeable via USB. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port on the light and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- LIG105/BK105 (2000mAh) and LIG510/BK501 (4000mAh): The battery level is displayed with indicators (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). These indicators also work during charging.
- 1500mAh Model: This model has a blue/red indicator only, without the percentage display.
Charging time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on the model and power source.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Waterproofing
The bicycle light has an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for use in rainy, foggy, and snowing conditions.
Important: It is not recommended to use the light in heavy rain for extended periods. After exposure to rain, wipe off any water promptly to ensure longevity.

6.2 General Care
- Keep the charging port clean and dry.
- Avoid dropping the light or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Wired Control Buttons Not Working
If the buttons on the wired control switch are not responding:
- Ensure the wired control switch is securely connected to the headlight unit's port.
- Check for any visible damage to the cable or connectors.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the switch.
- Ensure the main headlight unit is powered on and has sufficient battery.
7.2 Light Not Turning On
- Check the battery level. If low, charge the device fully.
- Ensure the power button is pressed and held for a few seconds to turn it on.
7.3 Light Not Charging
- Verify that the USB cable is properly connected to both the light and the power source.
- Try using a different USB cable or power adapter.
- Ensure the charging port on the light is clean and free of debris.
