6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Key Definitions
- Short press: Pressing a key for less than 2 seconds.
- Long press: Pressing a key for more than 2 seconds.
6.2 Module Statuses
- Working Status: The module starts operation after powering on. The digital display shows the remaining time for Channel 1 by default. Parameters can be adjusted via the 'channel select' setting.
- Set Status: Short press the 'SET' key to enter the 'channel select' status. Short press the 'OK' button to exit the setting.
- Power-saving Status: In this status, the digital display is off, but all other functions operate correctly. To enter, long press the 'OK' button for 5 seconds. To exit, long press 'OK' for another 5 seconds or re-power the module.
6.3 Factory Settings
To restore factory settings, press and hold the '++' and '--' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The digital display will turn on, indicating the reset. After re-powering, the module will operate with default parameters.
6.4 General Settings Procedure
- After power-up, the digital display will show the remaining time for the default channel (Channel 1).
- Press the 'SET' button to enter the 'channel select' interface. Use the '++' or '--' buttons to select the desired channel (relay) to operate. Press 'OK' to exit 'channel select' and save the current parameters. Press 'SET' again to enter the 'parameter settings' interface for the selected channel.
- Under the 'parameters' screen, press the 'SET' button to cycle through parameters. Use the '++' or '--' buttons to modify the parameter values. Press the 'OK' button to exit the 'parameters' screen and save the current parameters.
6.4.1 Channel Select Interface
This table details the channel selection process:

6.4.2 Parameter Settings Interface
This table outlines the parameters available for configuration:

6.5 Timing and Cycle Settings
- Timer T1 & T2: The minimum unit for T1 and T2 is one second. The timing range is 00 hours, 00 minutes, 01 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.
- Number of Cycles (Nx): This defines how many times an action is performed after being triggered. Nx = 00 indicates continuous cycling. Nx = 01 means no cycle (single execution). You can set Nx from 1 to 99 cycles, or for continuous operation (00).
6.6 Noun Resolution
- NO: Relay Normally Open contact.
- COM: Relay Common contact.
- NC: Relay Normally Closed contact.
- Relay Open: COM connects to NO.
- Relay Close: COM disconnects from NO.
6.7 Function Modes (F0-F5)
The following function modes can be set for cyclic operation. You can configure the Number of cycles (Nx from 1 to 99 times, 00 for always cycle; default is 01 for no cycle).
- F0: After power-up, the relay is closed. Upon trigger input (IN1/2/3/4), the relay opens. After T1 time delay, the relay closes.
- F1: After power-up, the relay is open. Upon trigger input, the relay closes. After T1 time delay, the relay opens.
- F2: After power-up, the relay is closed. Upon trigger input, there is a T1 time delay, then the relay opens. After T2 time delay, the relay closes.
- F3: After power-up, the relay is open. Upon trigger input, there is a T1 time delay, then the relay closes. After T2 time delay, the relay opens.
- F4: After power-up, the relay is closed. After T1 time delay, the relay opens. After T2 time delay, the relay closes.
- F5: After power-up, the relay is open. After T1 time delay, the relay closes. After T2 time delay, the relay opens.
7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your relay module, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the module clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Store the module in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture.
- Avoid exposing the module to strong electromagnetic fields, which could interfere with its operation.
- Regularly check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your CE007 relay module, consider the following common problems and solutions:
- Module not powering on: Check the power supply voltage and polarity. Ensure connections to VIN/GND or the 5V barrel jack are correct and secure.
- Relay not triggering: Verify that the trigger input (IN1-IN4) is receiving the correct signal. Check the selected function mode (F0-F5) and ensure the timing parameters (T1, T2) and number of cycles (Nx) are set as intended.
- Incorrect timing: Double-check the T1 and T2 settings in the parameter interface. Ensure the time units (seconds, minutes, hours) are correctly configured.
- Module unresponsive: Try performing a factory reset (long press '++' and '--' for 3 seconds) to revert to default settings, then reconfigure.
- Digital display off: The module might be in power-saving status. Long press 'OK' for 5 seconds to exit power-saving mode.
9. User Tips
- Review Wiring Carefully: Before applying power, always double-check all wiring connections against the provided diagrams to prevent damage to the module or connected loads.
- Test Modes: When experimenting with different function modes (F0-F5), start with short delay times and low cycle counts to understand their behavior before implementing in critical applications.
- Power Supply: Ensure your power supply is stable and within the specified voltage range (DC 6.5-25V or DC 5V) to avoid erratic behavior or damage.
- Parameter Backup: If you have complex settings, it's advisable to note them down before making significant changes or performing a factory reset.
