Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA 1.5V Alkaline battery in the two-way remote control when the battery indicator is low or the remote's range decreases. The one-way remote uses a CR2032 battery.
- Air Sensor Charging: Ensure the car adaptor air sensor is regularly charged via the cigarette lighter to maintain its functionality. A full charge typically lasts 5-10 days.
- Cleanliness: Keep the siren, sensors, and remote controls clean and free from dust and moisture to ensure optimal performance.
- Antenna Placement: Periodically check the antenna's position to ensure it remains securely fixed and unobstructed for maximum range.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Alarm siren does not sound. | Low or dead battery in the siren; loose connection to car battery; siren malfunction. | Check siren battery (if applicable) and connections. Ensure the red/black cables are securely attached to the car battery terminals. If the issue persists, contact support. |
| Remote control not receiving alerts or has reduced range. | Low battery in the remote control; obstructions between car and remote; antenna improperly installed or damaged. | Replace the AAA battery in the two-way remote. Check the high-frequency antenna's connection and placement. Ensure no major obstructions are blocking the signal. |
| Air sensor not detecting door/trunk open. | Air sensor not charged; sensor placed in an unsuitable location; sensor malfunction. | Charge the air sensor fully via the cigarette lighter. Ensure it is placed in a location where air pressure changes can be detected when doors/trunk open. |
| Shock sensor not detecting car movement. | Sensor sensitivity setting (if adjustable, refer to advanced settings); sensor malfunction. | Ensure the main alarm unit is securely placed. If the system has adjustable sensitivity, check its settings. |
User Tips
- For optimal performance, ensure the high-frequency antenna is installed as level as possible, ideally around the windshield, to maximize signal range.
- Regularly check the battery status of your two-way remote control to avoid unexpected disconnections or missed alerts.
- When charging the car adaptor air sensor, ensure it is fully charged to benefit from its 5-10 day standby time.
- If you experience issues with the siren not sounding, double-check all battery connections before assuming a malfunction.
