3. Device Layout

4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your walkie-talkie. The device features a built-in 1650mAh Li-ion battery.

  1. Connect the Type-C USB cable to the USB charging port on the side of the walkie-talkie.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the provided power adapter or any standard USB power source (e.g., computer, power bank, car charger).
  3. The display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically provides 8-12 hours of continuous use or up to 3 days standby.

4.2 Using the Six-Way Charger

For charging multiple units simultaneously, use the provided six-way charger.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC Jack of the six-way charger.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
  3. Place the walkie-talkies into the charging slots. Ensure the desktop charger connector on the walkie-talkie aligns with the charger base.
  4. The charging indicator light for each slot will show the charging status.
  5. The six-way charger includes multiple security protections against overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit, and overheating.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  1. To power on, press and hold the Power Key until the display lights up.
  2. To power off, press and hold the Power Key until the display turns off.

5.2 Channel Selection

The walkie-talkie features a 1.7-inch dot matrix display for clear operation.

  1. Press the Menu button (square icon) to enter the menu.
  2. Use the Left (<) or Right (>) keys to navigate through options, including channel selection.
  3. Select your desired channel. PMR versions have 16 channels, FRS versions have 22 channels.
  4. Press the Menu button again to confirm your selection or exit the menu.

5.3 Transmitting and Receiving

  1. To transmit, press and hold the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  2. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and return to receive mode.
  3. Ensure you are on the same channel as the other party to communicate.

5.4 VOX Hands-Free Operation

VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT button, by simply speaking into the microphone.

  1. To activate or deactivate VOX, press the Menu button twice.
  2. Use the Left (<) or Right (>) keys to select "VOX On" or "VOX Off".
  3. The VOX sensitivity level can also be adjusted (1-9) through the menu to suit your environment.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the USB charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to prevent dust and moisture ingress.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
  • Charge the battery in a cool, dry environment.
  • If the device will not be used for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting
