4. Controls Overview
Familiarize yourself with the control buttons located on the top of the speaker:

- Open Key (Power Button): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to switch modes (Bluetooth/AUX/TF/USB).
- Pause Key (Play/Pause): Short press to play or pause music.
- Light Key: Short press to cycle through light modes or turn lights on/off.
- Previous Song / Volume Down: Short press for previous song. Press and hold to decrease volume.
- Next Song / Volume Up: Short press for next song. Press and hold to increase volume.
- Series Key (TWS Pairing): Short press to initiate TWS pairing (see TWS Pairing Instructions).
5. Setup and Operation
5.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
- A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours.
5.2 Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Open Key until you hear a power-on prompt and the indicator light flashes.
- To power off, press and hold the Open Key again until you hear a power-off prompt.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue light). If not, short press the Open Key to switch modes.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "HOPESTAR H56" from the list.
- Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the blue indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if within range.

5.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing
To achieve a true stereo sound experience, you can pair two HOPESTAR H56 speakers together:
- Ensure both H56 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet connected to any device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), short press the Series Key. You will hear a prompt indicating it's searching for another speaker.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone once TWS pairing is successful.
- Now, enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for "HOPESTAR H56". Connect to it as you would a single speaker.
- Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

5.5 Other Playback Modes (AUX, TF Card, USB)
- AUX Mode: Connect your audio device to the speaker's 3.5mm AUX input using the provided audio cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode or you can short press the Open Key to cycle modes.
- TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with MP3 audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback.
- USB Mode: Insert a USB flash drive with MP3 audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.
5.6 Light Effects
Short press the Light Key to cycle through different light modes or to turn the dynamic light ring on/off. The light ring changes with the music, adding a visual element to your listening experience.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Resistance: While IPX6 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when near water to maintain water resistance.
