1. Introduction

The Xprinter 365B is a versatile thermal printer designed for both label and receipt printing. It offers high-speed printing and supports various connectivity options, making it suitable for commercial applications. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the printer and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components are present before proceeding with the setup.

2.2 Connecting the Printer

The Xprinter 365B supports multiple connection types:

  • USB Connection: Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  • Bluetooth Connection: For wireless printing from mobile devices (Android/iOS) or computers with Bluetooth.
  • LAN/WiFi Connection (if applicable): Some models may support Ethernet (LAN) or Wi-Fi for network printing. Refer to your specific model's interface for availability.

2.3 Driver Installation

Before using the printer, you must install the appropriate drivers for your operating system. Drivers are available for Windows, Android, iOS, Linux, and Mac.

  1. Visit the official Xprinter driver download page: https://www.xprintertech.com/drivers-2
  2. Select the correct driver for your operating system (e.g., "Label Printer Driver (Windows)").
  3. Download and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

2.4 Loading Paper

The Xprinter 365B supports thermal paper/labels with a width of 20-80mm and a maximum diameter of 82mm.

  1. Press the 'OPEN' button or lever on the side of the printer to open the top cover.
  2. Remove the paper roll holder.
  3. Insert the thermal paper roll into the holder, ensuring the printing side faces upwards.
  4. Place the paper roll holder with the paper into the printer's paper compartment.
  5. Pull a small length of paper out past the print head.
  6. Close the top cover firmly until it clicks into place.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Printing Modes

The Xprinter 365B supports two primary printing modes: Label Mode and Receipt Mode. The printer automatically adjusts based on the paper type and software settings.

  • Label Mode: Ideal for printing barcodes, product labels, shipping labels, and stickers. Achieves a print speed of up to 127mm/s.
  • Receipt Mode: Suitable for printing sales receipts and transaction records. Achieves a print speed of up to 220mm/s.

3.2 Using Barcode Editing Software

For advanced label design and customization, utilize the dedicated barcode editing software. This software allows you to create and edit 1D/2D barcodes, QR codes, pictures, and Excel prints with ease.

3.3 Mobile Printing

For convenient printing from your smartphone or tablet, the Bluetooth version of the printer supports mobile Bluetooth app link printing for both Android and iOS devices.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Xprinter 365B, regular maintenance is recommended:

  • Cleaning the Print Head: Periodically clean the thermal print head with an alcohol swab to remove dust and paper residue. A durable print head is designed for extended use, but cleanliness is key.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Paper Quality: Always use high-quality thermal paper or labels to prevent damage to the print head and ensure clear prints.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your printer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Printer Not Responding:
    • Check if the power cable is securely connected and the printer is turned on.
    • Verify the USB, Bluetooth, or network connection is active and stable.
    • Ensure the correct printer driver is installed and selected on your computer/device.
  • Poor Print Quality:
    • Check if the thermal paper/labels are loaded correctly and are of good quality.
    • Clean the thermal print head as described in the Maintenance section.
    • Adjust print density settings in your printer driver or application.
  • Paper Jam:
    • Open the top cover and carefully remove any jammed paper.
    • Ensure the paper path is clear of any obstructions.
    • Reload the paper roll correctly, making sure it's aligned.
  • Labels Not Aligning/Incorrect Size:
    • Ensure the label size is correctly set in your printing software or driver.
    • Perform a printer calibration if available in your driver settings to detect label gaps.
