1. Product Overview

This document provides instructions for the Flytec 2011-5 RC Fishing Bait Boat Remote Control, model 2011-5.012. This remote control is designed as a replacement or spare part specifically for the original Flytec 2011-5 RC Fishing Bait Boat model. The compatible boat circuit board features connectors for Front Light, Left Rear Light, Right Rear Light, Servo, Switch, Battery, Right Motor, Left Motor, and a Battery Indicator, as shown in Figure 3.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required number of AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Frequency Matching Method

This procedure is necessary if the remote control does not respond to the boat or if either the boat's circuit board or the controller's circuit board has been replaced. Follow these steps to pair the remote control with the boat circuit board:

  1. Long press the frequency button (labeled ① in Figure 5) on the remote control and do not release it.
  2. While still holding the frequency button, turn on the boat's power switch.
  3. Then, turn on the remote controller's power switch key (labeled ② in Figure 5).
  4. When you hear a long "beep" sound, the controller and the boat are successfully matched. This operation must be completed within 3 seconds.

3. Operating Instructions

Once the remote control is successfully paired with your Flytec 2011-5 bait boat, you can operate the boat using the joysticks and buttons on the controller.

  • Left Joystick: Typically controls the left motor's speed and direction (forward/reverse).
  • Right Joystick: Typically controls the right motor's speed and direction (forward/reverse).
  • Trim Buttons: Used to fine-tune the boat's straight-line movement if it veers to one side.
