7. Troubleshooting

  • No Display:
    • Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the KVM switch and your devices.
    • Verify that the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
    • Check if the active PC is selected on the KVM switch (corresponding LED should be lit).
    • Try using shorter HDMI cables, especially for 4K resolutions, as cable quality and length can affect signal integrity.
  • Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
    • Ensure the USB-B cables from both PCs are correctly connected to the KVM switch.
    • Verify that the keyboard and mouse are connected to the 'HUB' USB-A ports on the KVM switch.
    • Try connecting the keyboard/mouse directly to the PC to confirm they are functional.
    • Some specialized gaming keyboards/mice with extra features might require direct connection or specific drivers; try a standard keyboard/mouse first.
  • Intermittent Signal/Flickering:
    • Check all cable connections for looseness.
    • Ensure your HDMI cables meet the specifications for your desired resolution (e.g., High-Speed HDMI for 4K).
    • Reduce the resolution or refresh rate to see if the issue persists.
    • Ensure the KVM switch is receiving adequate power from the USB connections.
  • Switching Issues:
    • Ensure the switch button (either on the panel or the desktop control) is pressed firmly.
    • If using the desktop control switch, ensure it is properly plugged into the 'SW' port.

8. User Tips

No specific user tips are available from reviews or Q&A at this time. For optimal performance, ensure all cables are of good quality and appropriate length for your setup.
