5. Setup
5.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the speaker and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Keep the packaging for future storage or transport.

5.2. Charging the Speaker

Connect the provided Micro USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a 5V/500mA USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. Charging typically takes 1-2 hours.
5.3. Power On/Off
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the back panel of the speaker.
- To Power On: Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. You will hear an audible prompt indicating the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
- To Power Off: Slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.4. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by an audible prompt).
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices. The speaker will appear as "TG-166".
- Select "TG-166" to pair. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
5.5. Other Playback Modes
- TF Card/USB Disk: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card or USB 2.0 disk with MP3, WAV, or WMA music files into the respective slot/port. The speaker will automatically switch to the corresponding mode and begin playback.
- AUX Input: Connect one end of the provided AUX cable to the speaker's AUX port and the other end to the audio output of your device. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Basic Controls
The speaker features several buttons on its top panel:
- 'M' Button (Mode): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, TF Card, USB Disk, and AUX modes.
- '-' Button (Volume Down / Previous Track): Long press to decrease volume. Short press to go to the previous track (in music playback modes) or previous station (in FM mode).
- '+' Button (Volume Up / Next Track): Long press to increase volume. Short press to go to the next track (in music playback modes) or next station (in FM mode).
- Play/Pause Button: Short press to play or pause music.
6.2. Call Function
When connected via Bluetooth to your phone:
- Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
- End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button during a call.
- Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.
6.3. FM Radio
In FM mode, short press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available radio stations. Use the '-' and '+' buttons to navigate between saved stations.
6.4. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function
To connect two TG166 speakers for TWS stereo sound:
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not connected to any device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the 'M' button until you hear a pairing tone.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other.
- Once connected, pair your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.4. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.
