5. Safety Information
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Installation should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Ensure power is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
- Verify the voltage and current ratings of your load do not exceed the timer's specifications (AC 220V, 16A).
- Use appropriate wiring gauges for the load current.
- Do not expose the device to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Keep out of reach of children.
6. Installation
The TM624 timer is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting. Follow these steps for installation:
- Turn off the main power supply to prevent electric shock.
- Mount the TM624 onto a standard 35mm DIN rail by snapping it into place.
- Refer to the wiring diagrams in Section 7 for connecting the power supply and load.
- Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
- Once wiring is complete, restore power.

7. Wiring Diagrams
Proper wiring is crucial for the safe and correct operation of the timer. Please consult the diagrams below based on your application.
7.1 Single-Phase Control
For single-phase appliances, connect the timer as shown. If the working current of the controlled appliance exceeds the 16A rated value of this switch, an AC contactor expansion control method must be used.

Figure 5: Single-Phase Wiring (Direct and Expansion Controlled)
7.2 Three-Phase Control
For three-phase appliances, an external AC contactor (KM) is always required, as the timer itself is not designed for direct three-phase load switching.

8. Operation and Programming
The TM624 allows for setting up to 40 ON/OFF groups with specific bell durations. Refer to the video demonstration and steps below for programming.
8.1 Video Guide
Video 1: Programming the SINOTIMER TM624 (Shows unlocking, setting ON time, setting bell groups, and bell duration).
8.2 Basic Programming Steps
- Unlock the Device: If the screen shows "LOCK", long press the "MD" button for 3 seconds to unlock the timer. The display will change from "LOCK" to "AUTO OFF".
- Set Current Time: Use the hour and minute buttons to set the current time. Use the day buttons (Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su) to set the current day of the week.
- Enter Program Mode: Press the "P" button (or similar program button, often labeled with a clock icon or 'P') to enter programming mode.
- Set ON Time: The display will show "1 ON". Use the hour, minute, and day buttons to set the desired time and days for the first "ON" event (e.g., when the bell should ring).
- Set Bell Duration: After setting the ON time, you will typically set the duration for which the bell rings. This is usually done by pressing another button (e.g., "S" for seconds or a dedicated bell duration button) and adjusting the time from 1 to 99 seconds.
- Set OFF Time (if applicable for bell): For a bell timer, the "OFF" time is usually implicitly handled by the bell duration setting. However, if you are programming a general ON/OFF switch, you would then set the "1 OFF" time.
- Repeat for Multiple Groups: Press the "P" button again to cycle through "2 ON", "2 OFF", and so on, up to 40 groups.
- Exit Program Mode: Once all desired programs are set, press the clock button (or "MD" button) to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.
- Verify Operation: The timer should now operate according to your programmed schedule. The video demonstrates the bell ringing for the set duration.
Note: The exact button labels and sequence might vary slightly. Always refer to the on-screen prompts and the video guide for precise instructions.
9. User Tips
- The timer supports up to 40 distinct bell ringing schedules (ON/OFF groups).
- The bell duration can be set between 1 and 99 seconds for each group.
- This is a "Mini type" timer switch, suitable for compact installations.
- The internal rechargeable battery ensures that your programmed settings are retained even if the main power supply is interrupted.
10. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check the main power supply and ensure wiring connections to A1 and A2 terminals are correct.
- Programs not executing:
- Ensure the device is unlocked (not showing "LOCK").
- Verify that the current time and day are set correctly.
- Check that the programmed ON/OFF times are within the desired operating period.
- Confirm the timer is in "AUTO" mode, not "ON" or "OFF" manual override.
- Bell not ringing:
- Check the wiring to the bell/load.
- Ensure the bell itself is functional.
- Verify the bell duration is set to a value greater than 0 seconds.
- Screen is blank or flickering: This might indicate low internal battery. Allow the device to be powered for several hours to recharge the internal battery. If the issue persists, contact support.
11. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically check wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear.
- The internal battery is designed for long life and is generally not user-replaceable.
12. Warranty and Support
This product comes with a standard manufacturer's warranty. For warranty claims, technical support, or service inquiries, please contact your retailer or the manufacturer directly. Please have your model number (TM624) and purchase information ready when contacting support.
