1. Introduction

The KZ SKS TWS True Wireless Earphones are ergonomically designed hybrid stereo earphones featuring advanced audio technology for a superior listening experience. They combine a 10mm dynamic driver with a 30019 balanced armature for HD sound quality and a wide stereo field. With Bluetooth 5.2 and a QCC3040 chip, these earphones offer stable, fast connections and a high-performance mode for gaming and video.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Initial Pairing

The KZ SKS earphones feature a simple, intelligent two-step connection process:

1. Take out both Bluetooth earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for available devices. Select "SKS" (or similar name) from the list to connect.

After the first successful pairing, each time you take the earphones out of the charging case, they will automatically connect to your phone if Bluetooth is enabled.

4.2 Single Ear Mode

The earphones support seamless switching between one-ear and two-ear modes. You can use either the left or right earphone independently. To switch from single ear mode to binaural mode, simply take out the other earphone from the charging case; it will automatically connect without additional operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Touch Controls

The KZ SKS earphones feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud:

• Play/Pause: Click the touch key once.
• Answer/Hang up a Call: Click the touch key once.
• Previous/Next Song: Double-click the left earphone for the previous song, double-click the right earphone for the next song.
• Reject Call: Long press the touch key.
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Long press the touch key for 2 seconds.
• Start High Performance Mode: Click the touch key three times.

5.2 High Performance Mode

For an enhanced experience during gaming or watching videos, activate the high performance mode. This mode significantly reduces audio latency to a millisecond level, ensuring smoother and more synchronized audio. To activate, simply click the touch key three times.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive materials, solvents, or chemical cleaners.
• Ensure charging contacts on both earbuds and case are clean and free of debris for optimal charging.

6.2 Charging

The charging case has a 400mA capacity and can fully charge the earbuds approximately 8 times. When the earphones are placed back into the charging case, they will automatically power off and begin charging.

6.3 Storage

• Store the earphones in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.
• Avoid exposing the earphones to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Earphones Not Pairing or Connecting

If you experience issues with pairing or connection, try clearing the earphone pairing information:

1. On your mobile phone, go to Bluetooth settings and "forget" or "unpair" the connected "SKS" device. Then, turn off your phone's Bluetooth.
2. Place both earphones back into the charging case, ensuring they are in the charging state (indicated by lights).
3. While in the charging state, touch and hold the touch key on each earphone for 10 seconds. The red and blue lights on the earphones will flash alternately twice, indicating that the pairing information has been cleared.
4. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and attempt to pair the earphones again as per the initial pairing instructions.

7.2 Earphones Still Working When Case is Closed

If the earphones continue to function when placed in the closed charging case, ensure they are properly seated in their charging slots and that the charging case has sufficient battery. If the case battery is depleted, the earphones may not power off automatically.

7.3 Sound Quality Issues

Ensure the earphone pads are correctly sized and seated in your ear canal to achieve optimal sound and passive noise reduction. Clean the earphone nozzles to prevent blockage.

8. User Tips

• Qualcomm aptX Support: The KZ SKS earphones support Qualcomm aptX audio decoding technology, which can provide higher quality audio with compatible devices. Ensure your device supports aptX for the best experience.
• Battery Life: The earphones offer approximately 3 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case provides multiple additional charges, extending total listening time significantly.
• Microphone Functionality: The earphones include a built-in microphone, allowing you to make and receive calls directly through the earbuds.

9. Warranty and Support

The KZ SKS earphones come with a 1-month free replacement policy and 12 months of free maintenance. Buyers may request a replacement within 15 days of receiving the product. For maintenance, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs to return items. If any parts need replacement during maintenance, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of those parts.
