4. Initial Setup and Adjustments
Your YADEA electric bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup and adjustments:
4.1 Handlebar Adjustment
Adjust the handlebar height and angle to a comfortable riding position. Ensure the stem is inserted past the safety line and the bolts are tightened securely. Do not overtighten the handlebar bolts.

4.2 Seat Post Adjustment
Adjust the seat post height to allow for a slight bend in your knee when the pedal is at its lowest point. Ensure the seat post is inserted past the safety line and the quick-release clamp is securely fastened.

4.3 Pedal Installation
Attach the pedals to the crank arms. Note that pedals are typically marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise.

6.1 Power On/Off
To power on or off the electric system, long press the power button (red circle with power symbol) on the LCD display unit located on the handlebar.

6.2 Riding Modes
Your bike supports two main riding modes:
- Normal Bike: Ride as a traditional bicycle without electric assistance.
- Power-Assisted Bike: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. You can select from 3 assistance levels using the '+' and '-' buttons on the LCD display.

6.3 Bicycle Pushing Assistance Mode
For assistance when walking the bike, long press the '-' button on the LCD display. Release the '-' button to stop the assistance mode.
6.4 Light Control
To turn on/off the front and rear lights, long press the '+' button on the LCD display.

6.5 Gear Shifting
Your bike is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano transmission system. Rotate the gear shifter on the right side of the handlebar to change gears, allowing you to adapt to different road conditions and exert less effort.

7. Battery and Charging

- To reinstall, align the battery and slide it back into place until it clicks, then lock it with the key.

- Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. If storing for an extended period, charge it to about 50-70% and recharge every 1-2 months.
