Introduction

The Wonlex KT17S Smart Watch is designed to provide safety and connectivity for elderly users. It features 4G connectivity for video calls, precise location tracking, health monitoring (heart rate and blood pressure), and an essential fall detection alarm system. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.

Setup Guide

1. SIM Card Insertion:

   The watch requires a Nano SIM card for 4G connectivity, calls, and data functions. Carefully insert the Nano SIM card into the designated slot on the watch.

2. Initial Charging:

   Before first use, fully charge the watch using the provided magnetic charging cable. Connect the magnetic end to the charging points on the back of the watch and the USB end to a power adapter.
3. App Download and Pairing:

   Download the companion application (compatible with iOS and Android) to your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your watch with your phone. This app is essential for managing watch settings and features.

4. Setting SOS Numbers:

   Within the companion app, you can set up to 3 SOS emergency contact numbers. In case of an emergency, pressing the SOS button on the watch for 3 seconds will automatically call and send alarm messages to these pre-set numbers.
5. Adding Contacts:

   Use the companion app to add up to 10 contacts to the watch's phonebook. These contacts can be dialed directly from the watch.

6. Do Not Disturb (DND) Times:

   To prevent distractions, you can set up to 3 "Do Not Disturb" periods in the app. During these times, only SOS numbers can be dialed, and other calls will be shielded.

Operating Instructions

The Wonlex KT17S features a user-friendly interface with large icons for easy readability and navigation.

• Basic Navigation:

  Swipe across the touch screen to access different functions. Tap on large icons to open applications like Phone, Steps, Call History, etc.

• Making/Receiving Calls:

  Tap the 'Phone' icon to access your contacts. Select a contact to dial. The watch supports 4G video calls. Incoming calls can be answered directly on the watch.

• SOS Emergency Call:

  In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds. The watch will automatically call the pre-set SOS numbers and send alarm messages.
• Voice Monitoring:

  Once a phone number is confirmed in the app, the watch can automatically call that number, allowing for remote voice monitoring without the user's knowledge.

• Camera Function:

  The watch has a 0.3MP camera. Tap the 'Camera' icon to take photos, which are stored on the device. You can also remotely monitor and take photos via the companion app.

• Pedometer (Steps Tracker):

  Activate the step switch in the companion app. The watch will then track your steps, and the data will synchronize with the app.
• Gallery:

  The watch can store up to 400 of the latest images taken with its camera.

• Heart Rate & Blood Pressure (HR&BP) Detection:

  Tap the HR&BP icon on the watch to initiate a measurement. Please note that this is for reference only and not professional medical equipment.

• Fall Alert:

  The watch is equipped with a fall detection feature. If a fall is detected, it will prompt an emergency call. You can cancel the call if it's a false alarm.

• Sedentary Remind Alarm:

  Set up reminders in the app to encourage movement and avoid prolonged periods of inactivity.
• Location Tracking:

  The watch uses GPS, AGPS, LBS, and WIFI for real-time positioning. You can view the watch's location history and current position through the companion app.

• Alarms:

  Three alarms can be set via the companion app for reminders throughout the day.

Maintenance

• Charging:

  Always use the provided magnetic charging cable. Ensure the magnetic contacts are clean and properly aligned with the watch's charging points. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers.

• Water Resistance:

  The watch has an IP6 waterproof rating. This means it is resistant to splashes and light rain but should not be submerged in water or used for swimming/showering.

• Cleaning:

  Wipe the watch and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure the watch is completely dry before charging or prolonged use.
• Battery Care:

  The watch is equipped with a 680mAH polymer battery. To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully discharge and recharge the battery periodically. The battery is detachable for service if needed.

• Band Maintenance:

  The watch band is detachable, allowing for cleaning or replacement. Ensure it is securely reattached after any maintenance.

Troubleshooting

• Watch not turning on:

  Ensure the watch is fully charged. If the battery is completely drained, it may take a few minutes of charging before it powers on.

• No network signal/calls not working:

  Check if the Nano SIM card is correctly inserted and activated. Verify that the watch is within 4G network coverage. Ensure sufficient credit or data plan on the SIM card.

• Fall Alert false alarms:

  If a fall alert is triggered accidentally, you can cancel the emergency call directly on the watch screen by tapping 'cancel'. Review the fall detection sensitivity settings in the companion app if false alarms are frequent.
• Inaccurate Heart Rate/Blood Pressure readings:

  The HR&BP detection is for reference only and not intended for medical diagnosis. Ensure the watch is worn snugly on the wrist and the sensor is clean. For accurate medical readings, consult a healthcare professional.

• Cannot receive SMS messages:

  The watch supports sending and receiving messages. Ensure the SIM card has SMS functionality and the watch is connected to the network. Check app settings for message notifications.

• WhatsApp not working:

  Please note that the Wonlex KT17S Smart Watch does NOT support WhatsApp functionality.
• Low battery alarm:

  When the watch battery is low, an alarm will be triggered. Charge the watch promptly to avoid interruption of service.
