Setup
1. Initial Power-Up
- Unpack the HTZSAFE Plug-in Receiver from its packaging.
- Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible and not controlled by a switch that might accidentally turn off power to the device.
- The receiver will power on automatically.
2. Pairing with Sensors (Transmitters)
To function, the receiver must be paired with compatible HTZSAFE wireless sensors (e.g., motion sensors, door/window sensors). Refer to the specific sensor's instruction manual for its pairing procedure. Generally, the process involves putting the receiver into pairing mode and then triggering the sensor.
The receiver supports up to 4 zones, allowing you to assign different sensors to different zones for distinct alerts.
Operating Instructions
1. Adjusting Volume Levels
The receiver offers 4 adjustable volume levels. To change the volume:
- Locate the "Volume" button on the side of the receiver (refer to Figure 3).
- Press the "Volume" button repeatedly to cycle through the 4 available volume levels until you reach your desired setting.
2. Selecting Melodies
The receiver features 35 optional melodies. You can assign a unique melody to each paired sensor or zone.
- Locate the "Melody" button on the side of the receiver (refer to Figure 3).
- Press the "Melody" button repeatedly to cycle through the 35 available melodies.
- Once you hear a melody you wish to assign to a specific sensor/zone, stop pressing the button. The next time that sensor is triggered, it will play the selected melody.
3. Zone Indication
The receiver has illuminated numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) on its front face, corresponding to the 4 zones. When a sensor in a particular zone is triggered, the corresponding zone number on the receiver will light up, providing a visual indication of the alert's origin.
