Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your digital torque wrench, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Display Not Working:
- Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Verify that the correct unit is selected.
- Ensure the wrench is used within its specified torque range (10-340 Nm).
- Consider professional calibration if readings remain inconsistent or inaccurate.
- Alarm Not Sounding/LCD Light Not Activating:
- Confirm that a preset torque value has been set.
- Check battery level, as low power might affect alarm functions.
- Wrench Not Powering On:
- Ensure batteries are new and correctly inserted.
- Press the 'C' key firmly to power on.
User Tips
- Always select the appropriate socket size for the fastener to prevent damage to both the fastener and the wrench.
- Apply torque smoothly and steadily. Jerking or sudden movements can lead to inaccurate readings and potential damage.
- For critical applications, perform a test run on a non-critical fastener to ensure the wrench is functioning as expected.
- Keep the digital display clean and free from debris for optimal visibility.
