  • Rust Prevention: The aluminum alloy body has an anodized surface treatment to prevent rust. However, avoid prolonged exposure to highly corrosive environments.
  • Connection Check: Periodically inspect all electrical connections (power cord, dimmer, light unit) to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
  • LED Inspection: Ensure the LED chips are clean and free from debris that might obstruct light output.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Light Not Turning On

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the light unit/dimmer and the wall outlet.
  • Verify Outlet Functionality: Test the power outlet with another device to confirm it is working.
  • Inspect Dimmer/Controller: If using a dimmer or smart controller, ensure it is properly connected and powered on. Check its settings.

7.2 Light is Dim or Flickering

  • Check Dimmer/Controller Settings: Adjust the brightness settings on your wired dimmer or smart controller.
  • Power Supply: Ensure the power supply is providing stable voltage.
  • Connections: Re-check all connections for looseness.

7.3 Inconsistent Plant Growth

  • Lighting Schedule: Review your lighting duration and intensity. Ensure it matches the requirements of your specific aquatic plants.
  • Water Parameters: Check your aquarium's water parameters (CO2, nutrients, pH) as these significantly impact plant health.
  • Light Placement: Ensure the light is positioned optimally over the tank for even light distribution.

8. User Tips

  • Plug Type: The lamp comes with a power cord and plug. For regions like Russia, select the EU plug type during purchase.
  • Advanced Timer Functions: For advanced features like sunrise/sunset simulation, the optional Smart Controller Commander 1 is required. The standard wired dimmer offers basic 7-level brightness adjustment only.
