5.1 Connecting Devices via Wi-Fi

Once the router is powered on and has established a 4G LTE connection (indicated by the Signal LED), you can connect your Wi-Fi enabled devices:

  1. On your device (smartphone, laptop, tablet), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  2. Select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) corresponding to your Huawei B528s-23a. The default SSID and Wi-Fi password are usually printed on a label on the bottom or rear of the router.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
  4. Your device should now be connected to the internet.

5.2 Accessing the Web Management Interface

To configure advanced settings, you can access the router's web-based management interface:

  1. Ensure your computer is connected to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  2. Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
  3. In the address bar, type the default IP address of the router (commonly 192.168.8.1 or 192.168.1.1) and press Enter. Refer to the router's label or documentation for the exact IP address.
  4. Enter the default username and password (usually admin for both, or as specified on the router's label).
  5. You can now manage settings such as Wi-Fi name/password, network modes, and other advanced features.

5.3 Using the VoIP Function (RJ11 Port)

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the router. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
