2. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before installation and operation to prevent injury or damage.

  • Electrical Safety: Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or in accordance with local electrical codes. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before installation.
  • Motor Compatibility: This switch is designed for motors with an input/output voltage of 100-250VAC, 50/60Hz. It cannot work with DC motors.
  • Wiring Requirements: Your motor must have 4 wires (Blue Wire, Brown Wire, Black Wire, Green/Yellow Wire) for proper connection.
  • App Control Precaution: Before using the app to control the shutter, ensure the wall manual switch is in the 'STOP' position. This protects the motor from conflicting commands.
  • Remote Compatibility: The RF remote control included is specifically designed to work with the RF+WiFi version of this curtain switch. It is not compatible with WiFi-only curtain switches.

  1. Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya' app from the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
  2. Register or log in to your account.

5.4 Device Pairing

  1. After wiring and restoring power, the LED on the 'Open' button of the switch will be on, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Open the Smart Life/Tuya app and tap '+' to add a new device.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the switch to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
  4. Once successfully paired, the LED on the 'Open' button will turn off.
