Operation

Measurement

To measure signal parameters, first select a satellite and transponder from the database or manually edit installation settings. The system will then calculate and display parameters such as Level, SNR, MER, BER, SSI, and SQI. You can choose between A/B/C view modes. Use the Report button to view the installation report and the Save button to save it to the Report List menu.

Spectrum

The Spectrum function provides a real-time spectrum display. The X-axis represents frequency, and the Y-axis represents amplitude. You can adjust the display range of amplitude by sliding up and down, and change the start, stop, and center frequencies by sliding left and right.

Editing options include:

  • Frequency: Start, Center, Stop, Span, Display Mode (IF mode and TP mode).
  • Amplitude: Reference (-80dBm to 0dBm), dB/Div (2 to 20dB), Unit (dBm/dBuV/dBmV).
  • Marker: Up to two marker lines can be displayed, showing Level and Frequency in real-time.
  • Trace: Options include Max Hold (saves greater values) and Min Hold (saves smaller values).
  • Pause: Temporarily halts the spectrum display.

Multi-TP Scan

Select a satellite and up to 10 transponders for scanning. The results can be saved as a report.

Motor Test

This function supports DiSEqC 1.2 and USALS motor types. It displays SSI and SQI in real-time. Commands include Move, Goto Satellite, Goto 0, Reset, Clear Limit, Store Position, Set Limit, and Enable Limit. You can also set Move Step (Continue, 1/2/3/4 Step) and Direction (East, West).

DiSEqC Test

Test DiSEqC functionality with options for Band Switch and Port Switch. Band Switch supports Unicable 1.0 and 2.0. Port Switch supports DiSEqC 1.0 (ports 1-4) and DiSEqC 1.1 (ports 1-16).

Angle Calculation

Before calculating angles, ensure the following parameters are set: Satellite, Position (Latitude, Longitude), Dish Type (Axi_symmetric or Offset), and Offset Angle (if applicable). Click the Calculate button to determine azimuth, polarization, and elevation angles.

Limit Configuration

Configure Common Settings (Max Level, Min Level, BER) and SNR Threshold Settings. If any set limit is exceeded, a warning will appear in the Measurement interface.

Report List

View, delete, or rename saved reports. Reports can be filtered by All File, Signal Params File, or Spectrum Report File.
