7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the headlamp with a clean, soft cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or lens.
- If the headlamp gets dirty with mud or dirt, clean it gently with water and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly.

7.2 Battery Care
- Always use high-quality 18650 Lithium Ion batteries.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Recharge the battery regularly, even if not fully depleted, to prolong its lifespan.
- If the headlamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage.
7.3 Water Resistance
The H25S is rated IPX4 waterproof, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. While it can withstand rain and splashes, it is not designed for prolonged submersion. Ensure all caps and covers are securely fastened to maintain water resistance.

8. Troubleshooting
- Headlamp does not turn on:
- Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) terminal facing the head.
- Ensure the tail cap is screwed on tightly.
- Verify the battery is charged. If not, connect it to a power source using the USB cable.
- Try a different, fully charged 18650 battery.
- Light output is dim or flickers:
- The battery might be low. Recharge the battery.
- Ensure the battery contacts are clean. Clean them with a cotton swab if necessary.
- Headlamp gets hot during use:
- High brightness modes generate more heat. This is normal. The headlamp has a cooling program to extend its lifetime.
- If it becomes excessively hot, reduce the brightness level.
9. User Tips
- Brightness Comparison: Users have noted that the Sofirn H25S offers excellent brightness, often perceived as brighter than similar models from other brands.
- Lens Cover Material: While the headlamp body is aluminum alloy, some similar models may use plastic for the lens cover. Exercise care to avoid dropping the headlamp or exposing the lens cover to aggressive liquids, as plastic can be more prone to cracking.
- Versatile Use: The detachable design allows the headlamp to be used not only on the head but also clipped onto a cap or held in hand for various tasks.
