1.1. Important Attentions
- Children are forbidden to play with the machine alone. Do not drop it or hit it with hard objects, as this may cause data loss or hardware damage.
- It is recommended not to use this machine while driving a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. Always ensure driving safety.
- Please back up your files and data regularly. The manufacturer does not guarantee internal data and will not be responsible for any data loss.
- It is forbidden to use this product with an overloaded power supply. Avoid forcibly bending or squeezing the power cord with heavy objects to prevent heat generation and fire.
- Do not unplug the power supply with wet hands to prevent electric shock.
- Do not put the product in water or other liquids. Do not use organic solvents to clean the parts yourself, as this will damage and corrode the surface of the device.
- This product uses a built-in lithium battery. It is forbidden to disassemble it yourself. Batteries shall not be exposed to conditions such as direct sunlight, fire, or similar overheating.
- If used in a location affected by strong magnetic/electromagnetic fields, radio waves, or high voltage, this product may not work properly.
- If the actual settings and usage of this product are inconsistent with this manual due to firmware upgrades, please contact your local dealer.

2. Product Overview

- Play button "▶▶": Short press to play/pause.
- Menu button "M": Short press to switch between playing recordings/music files.
- Reset button: In case of a crash, use this button to reset the device.
2.3. Indicator Light Description
- Voice Recording: Red light flashes 3 times, then automatically turns off.
- Play: Blue light flashes.
- Standby mode: Blue light stays on.
- Charging: Red light flashes. Blue light is always on when fully charged.
- Low battery: Red light flashes quickly for 10 seconds and automatically shuts down.
3. Setup
3.1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device. Insert one end of the USB cable into the Type-C USB port of the recorder and the other end into a USB charger (not included) or a computer's USB port. The red indicator light will flash during charging. Once fully charged (approximately 2 hours), the blue light will stay on.
3.2. Connecting to Computer (OTG Function)
The V15 supports OTG function, allowing you to view files on your phone or PC. It comes with a Type-C/Micro-USB adapter for versatile connectivity.

To connect to a computer:
- In the OFF state, insert one end of the USB cable into the recorder's USB port and the other end into your computer's USB port.
- After a few seconds, your computer should recognize it and display a "USB DISK" icon.
- The red light on the recorder will flash, indicating data transmission.
Important Prompt:
- Always use normal methods to safely remove the "USB DISK" to prevent data loss.
- If the computer cannot recognize the device or the "USB DISK" logo does not appear, please try resetting the device and plugging it in again.
3.3. Setting System Time
To synchronize the recorder's system time with your computer:
- Connect the recorder to your computer as described above.
- Double-click to open the "USB DISK" drive.
- Locate and double-click the "Settime" folder.
- Inside the "Settime" folder, double-click "SetDigitRecorderTm.exe" to open it.
- A small window will appear, confirming the time setting.
Note: If the device is idle for a long time without charging, the system time may automatically reset. Reconnect to the computer to synchronize the system time. This set time will be used as a reference for recordings.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- Turn On: When the headset is not plugged in and the power is off, push up the "Power" button. The device will turn on and immediately start recording. The indicator light will turn from purple to red, flash 3 times, then go out.
- Turn Off: In the starting up or playback state, push down the "Power" button. The purple light will flash once and go out, saving the current recording and shutting down the device.

4.2. Voice Recording
- To start recording, simply push up the "Power" button when the device is off and no headset is plugged in.
- Notice: Avoid speaking directly into the microphone near the machine during recording, as this may cause popping sounds. It is best to keep your voice more than 30 cm away from the recorder.

4.3. Saving Recordings
- To manually save a recording, push down the "Power" button. The device will save the current file and shut down.
- If a headset is inserted during recording, the device will automatically save the current recording file and begin playback.
- Recordings are automatically saved as new files every 2 hours to prevent data loss due to excessively large files.
- When the battery is low, the device will automatically save the current recording and then shut down.

4.4. Playback
- Using Earphones: In the OFF state, first plug in the earphones (via the Type-C USB interface/jack). Then, push up the "Power" button. The device will turn on and automatically play the current recording file (blue light flashes).
- Using Computer: Connect the device to a computer as described in Section 3.2. You can then access and play the recording files directly from the "USB DISK" drive.
- Playback Controls (with wired remote control):
- Short press the "Play" button to play/pause.
- Short press "◀◀" to play the previous song/recording.
- Short press "▶▶" to play the next song/recording.
- Short press "+" to increase volume.
- Short press "-" to decrease volume.
- Short press "M" to switch between playing recording files and music files.

4.5. Recording Settings (via RECSET.txt)
You can customize various recording parameters by editing the RECSET.txt file on the device when connected to a computer.
- Connect the recorder to your computer (see Section 3.2).
- Open the "USB DISK" drive and locate
RECSET.txt. Double-click to open it. - Edit the values next to each parameter. Save the file after making changes.

4.6. Advanced Recording Features
- Segment Recording: The device can automatically save recordings in segments, making it easier to manage, file, and find specific parts of long recordings. Recordings are named with the exact time (accurate to seconds).

5. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry and clean. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or dusty environments.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel for any repairs.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Regularly back up your recordings to prevent data loss.

8. User Tips
- Adjusting Recording Volume (GAIN): If your recordings are too low, increase the
GAINsetting in theRECSET.txtfile. A higher number (up to 7) will make the boot recording louder. - Voice Activated Recording (VOR): To enable recording only when sound is detected, set the
VORparameter inRECSET.txtto a value between 1 and 10. A smaller number makes the device more sensitive to quieter sounds. - Compatibility: The V15 is compatible with Windows 2000 and above, Android, and Mac systems for file transfer and management.
- USB Interface: The device uses a Type-C USB interface for charging, data transfer, and connecting the wired remote control/headphones.
