Care and Maintenance
- Clean the watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging to prevent corrosion.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or strong magnetic fields.
- While water-resistant, avoid pressing buttons underwater to prevent water ingress.
- Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not turning on: Ensure the watch is fully charged using the magnetic charging cable.
- GPS signal not found: Move to an open outdoor area away from tall buildings or dense foliage. Allow a few minutes for the watch to acquire a signal.
- Inaccurate heart rate readings: Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, about one finger-width above the wrist bone. Clean the sensor on the back of the watch.
- Buttons unresponsive: If the watch is wet, dry it thoroughly. Avoid pressing buttons underwater.
- Display is dim or hard to read: Check battery level. The monochrome screen is designed for excellent visibility in direct sunlight. Use the backlight feature in low-light conditions.
User Tips
- Familiarize yourself with the physical buttons: Unlike touch-screen smartwatches, all functions are controlled via the five physical buttons. Refer to the user manual for detailed button assignments and mode navigation.
- Optimize battery life: To maximize battery duration, especially the impressive 12 weeks in standby, limit continuous GPS and heart rate monitoring when not actively exercising.
- Leverage the monochrome display: The watch's monochrome screen offers excellent readability even in bright sunlight, making it ideal for outdoor sports.
- Water resistance: While 5 ATM waterproof, avoid pressing buttons while submerged to maintain the seal.
- GPS acquisition: For accurate GPS tracking, ensure you are in an open outdoor environment when starting a "Run Mode" activity.
