7. Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure the camera is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password entered in the iCSee app is correct.
- Try restarting your router and the camera.
- If possible, try a wired Ethernet connection for initial setup.
- No image or black screen:
- Check if the camera is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected.
- Ensure your internet connection is stable.
- Restart the camera and the iCSee app.
- Motion detection not working or too many false alarms:
- Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the iCSee app.
- Define specific alert areas to exclude irrelevant zones (e.g., moving trees).
- Ensure AI Human Detection is enabled if you only want to detect people.
- Two-way audio issues:
- Check the volume settings on your mobile device and within the iCSee app.
- Ensure there is no obstruction blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
- Minimize background noise for clearer communication.
- TF card not recording:
- Ensure the TF card is inserted correctly.
- Format the TF card through the iCSee app.
- Check if the TF card has sufficient storage space or if it's faulty.
8. User Tips
- Optimal Wi-Fi Signal: For best performance, especially with PTZ and remote viewing, ensure your camera has a strong and stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Consider using an Ethernet cable if Wi-Fi is consistently weak.
- Regular App Checks: Periodically open the iCSee app to check live feeds and review recorded events. This helps ensure the camera is functioning as expected.
- Secure Your Account: Use a strong, unique password for your iCSee account to protect your privacy and camera access.
- Power Extension: If the provided power cable is not long enough, a 3M/5M/10M extension cable (DC 12V 2A, 5.5x2.5mm interface) can be purchased separately.
