The ZTE MC7010 is a high-performance 5G outdoor Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) device designed to provide high-speed data and voice services for residential, business, and enterprise users. It supports both NSA 5G Sub6 and LTE networks, leveraging the Qualcomm 5G SDX55M platform for robust connectivity. With built-in high-gain antenna technology, the MC7010 offers wide service coverage and high data throughput, with downlink speeds up to 3.8Gbps and uplink speeds up to 542Mbps.

4. Setup
4.1. SIM Card Installation
- Locate the SIM card slot on the MC7010 ODU.
- Insert a 4FFSIM card into the designated slot. Ensure it is correctly oriented and clicks into place.
4.2. Mounting the Outdoor Unit
The MC7010 is designed for outdoor installation and can be fixed on a wall or a hanging pole using the provided brackets.

- Assemble Brackets: Attach Bracket A to the MC7010 unit. Then, attach Bracket B to Bracket A.
- Choose Location: Select an outdoor location with optimal 5G signal reception, away from obstructions.
- Secure Bracket B: Fix Bracket B securely to your chosen surface (wall or pole) using appropriate screws or clamps.
- Attach MC7010: Slide the MC7010 unit (with Bracket A attached) onto Bracket B until it locks into place.

4.3. Power and Network Connection
- Connect one end of the Ethernet network cable to the 2.5Gigabit RJ45 port on the MC7010 ODU.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the 'PoE Out' port on the 48V PoE Adapter.
- Connect your indoor router or computer to the 'LAN In' port on the PoE Adapter using another Ethernet cable.
- Plug the 48V PoE Adapter into a power outlet. The device will power on automatically.
5. Operation
5.1. Accessing the Web Management Interface
- Ensure your computer is connected to the LAN port of the PoE adapter.
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
- Enter the default IP address of the router in the address bar:
192.168.254.1(This IP address can also be found on the product label, see Figure 3.2). - Log in using the default username and password (refer to the Quick Guide or product label for credentials).
5.2. Changing Language
The web interface supports multiple languages, including English and Chinese.
- Once logged in, locate the language selection dropdown, usually in the top right corner of the interface.
- Select 'English' from the options to change the interface language.

5.3. Status Information
The web interface provides detailed status information about your device and network connection.
- Navigate to the 'Status Information' section.
- Here you can view details such as SIM Card Number, IMEI, IMSI, and current Signal Strength.

5.4. Advanced Settings
The 'Advanced Settings' section allows for configuration of various network parameters and device functions.
- Access 'Advanced Settings' from the main menu.
- Options include Reset, Restart, PIN Management, SNTP, TR069Config, Network information, Diagnosis, Network Tools, VPN Client, and VoIP Settings.

5.5. Router Mode Configuration
You can configure the MC7010 to operate in either Router Mode or Bridge Mode, depending on your network requirements.
- Within 'Advanced Settings', navigate to the 'Router' tab.
- Select your desired mode (Bridge Mode or Router Mode) and apply the changes.
- Note that some settings, such as ODU IP Address, Subnet Mask, DHCP Server, DHCP IP Pool, DHCP Lease Time, MTU, and MSS, can only be changed when the modem is disconnected.

6. Maintenance
- Firmware Updates (FOTA): The device supports Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) updates. Regularly check for and install updates via the web management interface to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Environmental Protection: The MC7010 has an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and water jets. However, avoid submerging the device or exposing it to extreme physical impact.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection: Check the LED indicators on the device and PoE adapter. Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and active. Verify network settings in the web interface.
- Poor Signal Strength: Use the 5G signal diagnostics tool in the web interface to check signal quality. Consider adjusting the device's mounting position or orientation for better reception.
- Web Interface Unreachable: Ensure your computer is connected to the correct LAN port of the PoE adapter and its IP settings are compatible with the router's default IP (192.168.254.1). Try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.
- Device Malfunction: If the device is unresponsive, use the 'Reset Hole' button. A paperclip or similar pointed object can be used to press the reset button. Refer to the Quick Guide for specific reset procedures (e.g., short press for reboot, long press for factory reset).
8. User Tips
- Power Adapter Compatibility: The product is a Chinese version and comes with a Chinese standard adapter. While a plug adapter may be provided, ensure it is suitable for your region's power outlets to avoid compatibility issues.
- Language Support: The device's interface supports both Chinese and English. You can easily switch to English via the web management interface for easier navigation.
- Accessories: The MC7010 comes with all necessary accessories for basic setup, including mounting brackets, a PoE adapter, and an Ethernet cable.
