6. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry and away from moisture.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
- Clean the device gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device during operation.
7. Troubleshooting
- No display on TV/Projector: Ensure the dongle is properly plugged into the HDMI port and receiving power. Verify the TV/projector input source is set correctly. Try a different HDMI port or power source.
- Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Double-check the Wi-Fi password. Ensure the dongle is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Restart both the dongle and your router.
- Screen mirroring is laggy or disconnects: Ensure your device and the dongle are close to each other and your Wi-Fi router. Reduce interference from other wireless devices. Check your Wi-Fi network's stability.
- No audio: Verify the TV/projector's volume is up and not muted. Check audio settings on your source device.
- Device unresponsive: Disconnect and reconnect the power cable to restart the dongle. If issues persist, use the physical button on the dongle to perform a factory reset (refer to the device's on-screen instructions for reset procedure).
8. User Tips
- For the best experience, ensure your source device (phone, tablet, laptop) is running the latest operating system updates.
- When streaming high-definition content, a stable and strong Wi-Fi signal is crucial to prevent buffering and lag.
- If you experience performance issues, try restarting both the Wecast E9 dongle and your source device.
- Some apps may have content protection (DRM) that prevents mirroring. In such cases, direct casting features within the app (if available) might work, but screen mirroring may be blocked.
