Setup Guide

The MIUS Intelligent Spray System is designed for easy installation. It features a self-priming water pump, eliminating the need for a direct tap connection. Water is drawn directly from a container of your choice.

Installation Steps:

  1. Connect the spray heads to the PE water pipe using the provided Tee and Elbow connectors as needed.
  2. Install the plug at the end of the pipe run to seal the system.
  3. Connect the assembled pipe with spray heads to the "Outlet" port on the main engine.
  4. Install the self-priming head onto the other end of the PE water pipe.
  5. Connect the pipe with the self-priming head to the "Inlet" port on the main engine.
  6. Place the self-priming head into your water reservoir (e.g., a bucket or bottle).
  7. Connect the power adapter to the main engine and plug it into a power outlet.

Operating Instructions

The system features a black mirror touch screen for intuitive control. The main control panel includes three touch keys:

  • Spray Duration (Key 1): Sets how long the system sprays.
  • Mode Selection (Key 2): Switches between operating modes.
  • Downtime Duration (Key 3): Sets the interval between spray cycles.

Setting the Automatic Cycle Mode:

  1. Press the Mode Selection (Key 2) to enter automatic mode. The digital screen will light up.
  2. Press the Spray Duration (Key 1) to set the spray time. Each press increases the duration by 5 seconds, cycling from 5s, 10s, 15s, up to 60 seconds.
  3. Press the Downtime Duration (Key 3) to set the stop time between sprays. Each press increases the downtime by 1 hour, cycling from 1h, 2h, 3h, up to 24 hours.
  4. After completing your settings, wait for 5 seconds. The system will automatically activate the programmed cycle mode.

The system supports "Normally Open", "Normally Closed", and "Automatic Cycle" modes. The automatic cycle mode is ideal for consistent, timed misting.

Maintenance

  • Water Reservoir: Regularly check the water level in your reservoir and refill as needed to prevent the pump from running dry.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: Periodically inspect the spray nozzles for any blockages or mineral buildup. If clogging occurs, gently clean the nozzles with a soft brush or by soaking them in a descaling solution (e.g., diluted vinegar) if necessary. Ensure to rinse thoroughly before re-use.
  • Pipe Inspection: Check the PE water pipe for any kinks, leaks, or damage that could affect water flow.
  • Self-Priming Head: Ensure the self-priming head remains submerged in water and is free from debris.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe down the main engine unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
System does not spray or pump water. No power, water reservoir empty, clogged self-priming head, kinked pipe, or pump malfunction.Check power connection. Refill water reservoir. Clean self-priming head. Straighten pipes. If problem persists, contact support.
System makes repeated beeping sounds and does not work.Potential electric motor failure. This indicates a possible internal component issue. Contact customer support for assistance. (As per user feedback, a burnt electric motor can cause this.)
Weak or inconsistent spray.Clogged nozzles, low water level, air in the system, or insufficient pump pressure.Clean nozzles. Ensure adequate water in the reservoir. Check for air bubbles in the tubing. Ensure all connections are secure.
Water leakage from connections.Loose connections or damaged pipe/fittings.Ensure all pipe connections are firmly seated. Inspect pipes and fittings for cracks or damage and replace if necessary.

User Tips

  • For optimal performance, use distilled or filtered water to minimize mineral buildup in nozzles and prolong system life.
  • Position nozzles strategically to ensure even coverage and avoid oversaturation in specific areas.
  • Regularly monitor your plants or animals to fine-tune spray duration and downtime settings according to their specific needs and environmental conditions.
  • Consider placing the water reservoir below the level of the main unit to aid the self-priming process, though the pump is designed to draw water effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: The product does not work all of a sudden. It just beeps repeatedly. How do I fix the situation?
A: This symptom, especially repeated beeping, can indicate an issue with the electric motor. One user reported that replacing a burnt electric motor resolved this problem. If you encounter this, it is recommended to contact customer support for further diagnosis and potential repair or replacement.
