6. Operating Instructions
The UIP WIFI V2 pump offers various operating modes and calibration features via its touch screen interface.
Video 1: Kamoer Peristaltic Pump Operation Demonstration
6.1. Flow Rate Calibration
Accurate calibration ensures precise fluid dispensing.
- From the main screen, navigate to the Calibration tab.
- Click the Fill button to fill the pump tube with the liquid.
- Once the tube is filled, click Stop.
- Empty the measuring cylinder or beaker.
- Click the Calibrate button. The pump will run for a default time (e.g., 60 seconds at 100 RPM).
- Once the calibration time ends and the pump automatically stops, measure the volume of liquid dispensed into the cylinder.
- Input the measured liquid volume into the pump's interface.
- Click Done to complete the calibration.
6.2. Continuity Mode
Continuity mode allows for continuous fluid transfer at a set flow rate.
- From the main screen, click on Mode.
- Select Continuity from the running mode options.
- Adjust the desired flow rate using the + and - buttons, or click on Flow Rate (ml/min) to enter the value directly.
- Click Start to begin continuous pumping.
6.3. Ration Mode
Ration mode allows for dispensing specific volumes of liquid with customizable parameters.
- From the main screen, click on Mode.
- Select Ration from the running mode options.
- Click Edit to set the allocation parameters:
- Volume (ml): Set the volume to dispense per cycle.
- Flow Rate (ml/min): Set the flow rate for dispensing.
- Pause Time (s): Set the pause duration between cycles.
- Count: Set the number of dispensing cycles.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kamoer Peristaltic Pump.
7.1. Tube Replacement
Peristaltic pump tubes are wear-and-tear parts and should be replaced regularly depending on usage and liquid type. Refer to the 'Connecting the Pump Tube' section for instructions on how to open the pump head and replace the tube.
7.2. Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the pump with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure no liquid enters the internal components of the pump.
- Clean the pump head and rollers regularly to prevent residue buildup.
7.3. Storage
When not in use, store the pump in a clean, dry, and cool environment, away from direct sunlight and corrosive substances.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pump, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump does not turn on | No power, power cable loose, power switch off | Check power connection, ensure power switch is ON. |
| No fluid flow or inconsistent flow | Pump tube kinked, incorrect tube size, pump head not closed properly, calibration error | Check tube for kinks, ensure correct tube size is used, verify pump head is securely closed, re-calibrate flow rate. |
| Pump making unusual noise | Worn out tube, foreign object in pump head, motor issue | Replace pump tube, inspect pump head for obstructions, contact support if noise persists. |
| Touch screen unresponsive | Temporary software glitch, power issue | Restart the pump. If issue persists, contact support. |
9. User Tips
- Tubing Selection: If your liquid is viscous or corrosive, it is recommended to choose BPT tubing for better chemical stability and longer life. Silicone tubing is generally suitable for neutral liquids.
- Regular Calibration: For applications requiring high precision, perform flow rate calibration regularly, especially after changing tubing or if there are significant changes in liquid properties.
- Prevent Kinks: Always ensure the tubing is installed without any kinks or sharp bends to maintain consistent flow and prevent damage to the tube.
- Interface B: Interface B supports current analog, direction, and foot control. This allows for flexible integration into automated systems or for hands-free operation.
