6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Protection Mechanisms

The XYH3606 incorporates several hardware and software protection features:

  • Hardware Protection:
    • Input anti-reverse connection protection.
    • Output short circuit protection (short connection will not burn the module).
  • Software Protection:
    • Over Voltage Protection (OVP): Configurable maximum output voltage.
    • Over Current Protection (OCP): Configurable maximum output current.
    • Over Power Protection (OPP): Configurable maximum output power.
    • Over Temperature Protection (OTP): Configurable maximum operating temperature.
    • Input Under Voltage Protection (LVP): Configurable minimum input voltage.

If the device enters a protection state, check the display for alarm codes and verify input/output conditions against the set protection limits. Address the underlying cause before resuming operation.

6.2 Common Issues

  • No Output: Check input power, ensure ON/OFF is enabled, and verify no protection limits are being triggered (e.g., OVP, OCP).
  • Incorrect Output: Verify set voltage/current values. Check for loose connections or faulty wiring.
  • WiFi Connection Issues: Ensure the WiFi module is correctly installed. Check pairing mode settings (AP/TOUCH) and network configuration. Refer to the Distribution Network Interface for status.
  • Overheating: Ensure the fan is operating correctly. Check for obstructions to airflow. Reduce load if operating continuously at high power.

Note: If the output voltage is lower than 2V, the output current should be reduced to prevent potential issues.

7. User Tips

  • Pre-set Protection Limits: Always set appropriate OVP, OCP, and OPP values before connecting sensitive loads to prevent damage.
  • Remote Control Convenience: Utilize the remote control for quick and precise adjustments, especially when the module is installed in a less accessible location.
  • Data Logging: Use the capacity record interface to monitor total energy and capacity delivered for long-term projects or battery charging applications.
  • WiFi for Monitoring: For the WiFi version, leverage the mobile app or PC software for real-time monitoring and control, which is particularly useful for remote setups or data analysis.
