4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Neoteck NTK106 amplifier:
- Connect Audio Source: Use the provided 3.5mm audio cable to connect your audio source (e.g., MP3 player, mobile phone, computer) to the "Connection for the Sound Source" input on the amplifier.
- Connect Headphones: Plug your headphones into the "Headset Jack" (3.5mm output) on the amplifier.
- Power On: Rotate the "ON/OFF Switch & Volume Control" knob clockwise to power on the amplifier. The LED indicator will light up.
- Adjust Volume: Start with the volume at a low level and gradually increase it to a comfortable listening level.
- Select Gain: Use the "Gain Switch" to select between Low (L) and High (H) gain settings based on your headphones' impedance and desired volume.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power and Volume Control
The rotary knob serves as both the power switch and volume control. Rotate it clockwise to turn on the device and increase the volume. Rotate it counter-clockwise to decrease the volume and turn off the device.
5.2 Gain Switch
The two-stage gain switch (L-GAIN-H) allows you to adjust the amplification level. The 'H' (High) setting provides more power for high-impedance headphones or when a louder output is desired. The 'L' (Low) setting is suitable for lower impedance headphones or when less amplification is needed. Adjust this switch to achieve optimal sound quality and volume without distortion.

5.3 Bluetooth 5.0 Receiver Functionality
The NTK106 features a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, allowing you to stream audio wirelessly from your mobile phone or tablet to your wired headphones.
- Ensure the amplifier is powered on.
- On your mobile device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Neoteck RX5.0" from the list to pair.
- Once paired, audio from your mobile device will be streamed to the amplifier and output through your connected headphones.
Note for iPhone users:
You may be required to pair your iPhone with the headphone amplifier each time you use it. Follow the steps above: Settings → Bluetooth → My Device, then click "Neoteck RX5.0" to pair.

8. Troubleshooting
- No Sound:
- Ensure the amplifier is powered on and charged.
- Check all cable connections (audio source to amp, headphones to amp) are secure.
- Verify the volume knob is turned up.
- If using Bluetooth, ensure the device is correctly paired and connected.
- Test with different headphones or audio sources to isolate the issue.
- Distorted Sound:
- Reduce the volume on both the amplifier and the audio source.
- Adjust the gain switch (try 'L' for less amplification).
- Ensure the audio cables are not damaged.
- Avoid using the amplifier while charging, as this can cause interference.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Ensure the amplifier is within the 8m Bluetooth range of your device.
- Turn off and on Bluetooth on your mobile device, then try pairing again.
- For iPhones, remember to re-pair if necessary (Settings > Bluetooth > My Device > "Neoteck RX5.0").
- Clear previous Bluetooth pairings on your device if you encounter persistent issues.
- Short Battery Life:
- Ensure the amplifier is fully charged before use.
- Battery life can vary based on volume level and headphone impedance.
9. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry and away from moisture.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
10. User Tips
Based on common user experiences, here are some tips for optimal use:
- For the best audio quality, use high-quality audio cables and ensure they are securely connected.
- Experiment with both 'L' and 'H' gain settings to find the best match for your specific headphones and listening preferences.
